Welcome to the weekend homestead! Being up north in Minnesota during the summer is such a wonderful time. But the windows between tick season, mosquito season and deer fly season can be pretty short! Nothing ruins a good outing in the outdoors more than annoying deer flies! I hate wearing a head net so every year I try to improve my deer my trap. It may look a little goofy, but for use around the camp or off grid cabin it is an effective way to keep them off of your head and neck while thinning the population down one by one.
