I love watching all your animals enjoy their lives; but I am especially filled with joy when I watch Diogo. Thankyou to every one who helped, and especially yourselves for saving this bountiful bundle of energy. :)))
I love seeing him so joyfully bounding over the field, knowing that when Carissa and Iwan found him he was so badly damaged. They saved his life and he celebrates his newfound life exuberantly. 🐕🧡🐕
Carissa, so lovely to see you with you "babies". Hope Frankie gets better soon. Diogo is a a lovable rascal, love him to pieces!❤❤😊 That AC is heavenly and you deserve it.
Loved this episode Carissa, you covered so many subjects I was wanting to see. 😊😊 like the Laundry room and updates on pallet house and the new AC. Your lunch looked awesome! Love watching you prepare from garden❤❤ poor chickens and mites and pups, kitties typical though. Fighting flea allergy issues on my old dog. Chewed his tail.
Carissa, so lovely to see all your precious animals keeping you company …..thank you for including them in your videos …watching how happy they are brings so much joy …❤️❤️❤️
🤣😝love the little mistakes in the sewing, it happens to us all especially when learning ( plus if you like it). A lovely video, enjoy always but especially this one 🥰🇬🇧🏴
I am so glad you now have the Air Con, I bet that has made a world of difference and is so nice that both you and the animals benefit from it. PS: Clarissa, I would find an old pillow case or 2 and cut and sew to size to put all the pillow fill inside of that, then stuff that inside the cushion.
You can use patches to repair holes. My niece have used a turtle, flower, a bee on her nice cotton quilt that her cat damaged. When I first saw it I thought it was part of the design.
Your couch repair is athletically obvious. Mission acomplished! Great video, ad usual. You always do such a beautiful job of creating a dreamy and peaceful show. I love the sounds, cooking, flowers and your pets.
Nothing like going without to help you be grateful when you finally get what so many take for granted. I would never get sick of your voice. Both of you guys speak so beautifully, but then I love your accents as well.
Carissa i loved keeping you company on a Saturday morning it great to see your Life. And you don't talk to much unlike me. All your animals are living the best life especially diogo bouncing around it puts a smile on my face. We won't mention the cushion 😂 love from the uk ❤
The energy of Diogo always makes me chuckle and smile... and I love how he and Frankie play together. The garden looks amazing... doing much better than mine, as we have a slug army invasion going on here in Cornwall :/ Your lunch looked amazing btw and has inspired my own for today.
Maybe try laying black plastic along the stone wall to cover the mimosa shoots. In the summer heat it should cook them, as well as denying sunlight. Then next winter have fires to burn the stumps and down into the roots.
Thanks for the video. I just love Saturday mornings to watch you guys. I swear Diago is part kangaroo the way he hops around. Love watching the animals. Have a beautiful week, see you next week
Lovely .. something i always do is hang greens, lettuces etc up using string tied around the stalk. Chicken love pecking upwards and it makes it much easier for them to nip smaller manageable pieces xxx
You are so multi talented making you a wonderful partner in this adventure!! Sewing, raising food, herbs, pet care and so much more. I admire you💕And love following your channel🥰
So many beautiful moments! The beginning with the kitties and doggies was perfection, the chickens with all the greenery around them, the garden, the cooking 😊 I hope the animals get better, and poor chicken at the bottom of the pecking order, had no idea.. please give us updates on all of them. Loved also the praying mantis. And the couch😂 another truly cozy and relaxing video - there's comfort food and then there's comfort videos, like yours😊
Could you use bed pillow cases to make inner bags for the couch cushion stuffing? Or even sew some bags from a sheet…which can be an economical way to get a lot of fabric for utilitarian projects.
I loved this video!❤ The veggies in your garden look delicious and the lunch you prepared looked also delicious! You are very skillful in everything you do. Hugs to all your adorable pets.🐶❣️🐶❣️😻❣️😻❣️😻❣️ Hope chickens are feeling better with mite treatment. Great sewing skills! 👍🥰👍
Awwww, this episode was so lovely, your a very resourceful young lady, live the way you use everything and nothing goes to waste, think diogo must of found a funny plant or something the way he was jumping around like a kangaroo in the meadow😅... hahahaha, so funny..cheers me right up
Lovely episode ! Don’t worry about the neatness of boro or sashiko - just straight running stitch through your layers - use colours and whatever you have to hand. It can be addictive! Diogo is a fascinating animal, as is Frankie of course. Thanks for a lovely relaxing time with you.
Another beautiful video.. I can’t help but love Diogo for his attentiveness and playfulness.. he is so cute..❤️ Frankie is obviously so much more sensible 🤣 Much love 💕
Such a lovely vid, your garden is thriving. Feathers crossed for the hens' full recovrry from he pesky mites. I look forward to your weekly catch up every Saturday x
When working at a deli, we would put our lettuce in a deep bowl or pot and float it in cold water, in the refrigerator. The leaves stay crisp for a couple of days. You can cut off the roots and put most of the lettuce under-water.
Hi, Carissa. I’m glad that Frankie, Diogo, Albie, Blackie, and Tabby are keeping you company while Iwan is away. (I don’t remember the names of the black cat and the tabby cat.) The lunch that you cooked looked delicious! Good job on repairing the sofa cushions. I perform visible mending on my favourite jeans. Take care… see you next week❤️
When it gets too hot for the chickens, put a sprinkler on over their pen! They love it and they will be more comfortable! I live on a farm in South Africa and it can go up to 50 degrees Celsius in summer! Love your videos and what a joy the animals are for one! ❤
Good to leave things to go to seed. The seed from these plants will be better suited to your specific climate. And the bees will benefit from the flowering.
Patching is one of my fav things to do and it does help recycle and reduce waste. Like clothes, I can’t remember the one I wear until it gets too old. We consume too much and discard way more. Thanks for your videos.
You are so multi talented making you a wonderful partner in this adventure!! Sewing, raising food, herbs, pet care and so much more. I admire you💕And love following your channel🥰nice job on invasive tree!!!
Your not the only one who thinks they've finished all the sewing, and then to find it's wrong in some way. I've done that so many times. I'm very good at unpicking rather than sewing 😅 Your dinner looked delicious 🥘 have a lovely week 🙂🇦🇺
I so love watching your videos and look forward to each week when you release a new one. I'm so very pleased that you are both benefiting from Subscriptions and your Sponsors, you deserve it all, your channel is so genuine and you both work so very hard to improve your land, your lifestyle and to ensure we can all be entertained each and every week. Thank you xxx
Had a lovely time watching you and the animals this morning, Carissa. Your love for your fur and feathered friends is heart warming. Thank you for saying what you are planting or harvesting from your garden or land, for the dummies like me. Love the music as always, and the photography is excellent. Thank you for sharing your life with us! ❤️🇨🇦💐
Don't know if you have watched Project Kamp but they ring barked some Mimosa's and it work a treat at killing them off. It might be worth trying with some of yours to see if it works. s
If you Lime wash the inside of your chicken coup, it helps with the bugs and scrape the floor out weekly and disinfect the floor. Just saying but you most probably do that anyway. :)
Your garden and gardening abilities have grown exponentially. I'm impressed with what you have accomplished! Saw that you have yellow beans, not sure if you can get them in Portugal but if you like yellow and green beans....you will love these. They are called "royal burgundy" over here they are a dark purple in color and turn bright dark green when cooked. They are absolutely delicious.
Another lovely video! Thank you. Beautiful job on clearing the mimosa. Love your new logo with Frankie and Diogo. I hope you have a blessed week. ❤️🌿🌺🐈⬛🐶🌻
Clarissa for the repair on the couch cushion that you did on the wrong side you could trim the edge and do a quick overcast stitch. Google it on you tube and they will show you how to do the overcast stitch.
Carissa,, I love how chatty you are in this video so don’t apologize. Also, to mirror other comments, I adore your animals frolicking about and enjoying the awesome home you’ve given them and all this land and trees to climb and places to hide and show themselves to us. It’s just a hoot and I appreciate it.
In the beginning your pants matched the flowers you were sitting next to! What a great idea for your lettuce, wish I would have thought of that, mine is too far gone now.
Hi Carissa If you don't mind the visible mending on the couch, why don't you sashiko old denim (pants) pieces onto the couch. It's very sturdy and looks beautiful if you repeat the pieces on places that normally wear and tear first. Thanks for the video 💕
I was calling to the screen look at Frankie! She was in such a need for a cuddle on the couch, she tried and tried to get your attention😍😢😊 Being alone is not just anything, but you've got the best company❤
It's good to be alone sometimes as it strengthens a relationship. These calm times will do you good. The land is looking so beautiful and lush. Great job. Love and be safe! 😘🌻Ve
Thank you for sharing your normal daily life 🌼💕. Saturday afternoon is when I got to spend time with you guys and your cute animals. Somehow, everything on your land look so beautiful and the atmosphere is quite peaceful.☺️😍.
I just love that lovely old tree you uncovered...art inspired! Maybe it will make it into one of your projects! 😊💗💗ps; sometimes it's very good to have a break from our partner! 😅
My little dog chews if I am not careful. The latest craze was a highlight pen. She has two nylon bones to chew, but they are not good enough for her!! Carissa, I would just turn the rw edges ovf your patch under and neatly sew them underneath, shouldn`t take long.
hello there , I enjoy your video . Maybe I have some advice to kill the acacia on a friendly way , anyway thats what we do in holland with weed and all not wanted plants. We do a view table spoons of salt near the roots . Most of the time it is gone for a while. The salt kill the leafs and then the roots. And do that a a view times in the year .In the end it will be gone. All the luck and succes with your beautiful life in Portugal. Greetings from Anjo
I think dodo must be half red fox and half springbok. Such a joy to see you with all the animals, I am now convinced you guys are my favourite you tube channel of all time, bless you both and your joyful menagerie ! ( I’m retired and live on the Algarve coast in Portugal ) ❤
Carissa . It is always so great watching your channel. So natural and calming. Looking forward to seeing your cabin built.
Seeing Diogo loving life is such a joy. He hit the jackpot with his furever home & shows it. 😍👍👍
Carissa, so lovely to see you with you "babies". Hope Frankie gets better soon. Diogo is a a lovable rascal, love him to pieces!❤❤😊 That AC is heavenly and you deserve it.
It was a serene video. The dogs, cats & the chickens are always a pleasure to watch. Thank you

What a lovely treat, hope we kept you company, love chatty Carissa 😊 (and I promise I didn't chuckle about the inside out sofa mend) 😂 ❤❤❤
Inside out sofa mending - such a good idea and can look really good on all kinds of repairs including clothes. I wish i had the patience 🤪
Carissa i loved keeping you company on a Saturday morning it great to see your Life. And you don't talk to much unlike me. All your animals are living the best life especially diogo bouncing around it puts a smile on my face. We won't mention the cushion 😂 love from the uk ❤
Diogo and Frankie are living the beautiful life all animals deserve! Thank you for a very relaxing video, Carissa!😍🇨🇦
Its great to see how your garden is progressing and responding to your hard work!
Diogo is like a spring bok the way he bounds around, loving life. Oh poor Frankie I hope her eye heals well x
The energy of Diogo always makes me chuckle and smile... and I love how he and Frankie play together.

Opps. I've have done the same thing sewing. To be honest, those outside seams look like outside seams.
Love the watering system, I think this is the first time we have seen it x

Clarissa for the repair on the couch cushion that you did on the wrong side you could trim the edge and do a quick overcast stitch. Google it on you tube and they will show you how to do the overcast stitch.
Beautiful laid back video, love the way Diago appears to “bounce” through the grass to find his stick!
Thank you for a very relaxing time
Gotta love Diogos hopping skills throught the fields. Best life ever!
Love the handiwork of mending holes in your sofa cushions❗️
It's good to see you again 🎉

I’ve liked your comment as I agree. But, I despise my Neil and I to be separated. 😉❤️
Lunch looks amazing!😍🇨🇦
Life in the countryside is peaceful. Hope you always keep this beauty.
Greetings from NJ, USA
Caress a I was so happy to see the way you drew Diego behind Frankie That was the perfect thing
Chickens, the mites breed in any wood around, jet wash and sanitise their coop and replace their perches.
Como siempre me ha encantado tu video ❤❤
Thank you for improving the sound quality :)
Thanks
I loved the music in this video…so lovely while you work !

Nice calming video. You can keep the heat for me. Saying that, our temperatures have been in the 30's Celcius range. I am glad you got the AC.❤
