I know Shipwrecked has talked over and over again about just how many pages they shoot in a day, but it really hit home for me watching this video. The pace of the filming is relentless. Like when they finished filming with the horse and just immediately moved into the next scene. Getting into character and then switching from scene to scene that quickly out of order is really impressive to me.
Thank you to Mary Kate for editing this and for every single insanely talented person who worked on this show!!! It's absolutely amazing and I'm so glad I've seen it!! Love Sínead's absolute delight at sliming Sean lol
This kind of shoestring production is so high-pressure even WITHOUT worrying about a pandemic at the same time!! 😱 It's amazing to see everyone having a good time & enjoying their work regardless of all that stress. BTS content is always fascinating, as it really emphasizes just how many people's hard work goes into producing the finished content? Kudos to all the team & wonderful to see them still laughing & enjoying their work even at the end of a very long filming day 💖
It’s so cool getting to see how things like digging the hole in the basement were filmed! Thank you Chris for getting such awesome footage, and MK for spending so much time editing!
The filming process is so involved and cool, and it was wonderful getting to reminisce about being on set by watching this! Super fun to see the scenes being filmed and knowing that I was somewhere being absolutely blown away by how talented everyone in the cast and crew are and how everyone was so kind and welcoming! Shipwrecked works so hard and it’s so fun seeing a behind the scenes look! 🥰👻🎃🐎
6:05 The times Lauren has worn a mustache (off the top of my head, I’m sure there are more 😂) -Headless (obviously) -Poe Party -Twisted -Holy Musical B@man -Starship
Getting a peek at how this entire show was made was just amazing!! I loved seeing people and ingenious setups that were off-camera, and I gotta say, seeing the leafblower used for Kat's intro absolutely killed me. XD (Also, sliming Sean. Fabulous. What a send off.) (Also also, seeing Diedrich's song from the last ep and learning that he had been looking at MK the entire time... Wow, I got teary and shivery all over again.) Thank you for this video, thank you for braving the cold, and thank you for all your incredible hard work besides!! Wow!!
It's amazing seeing how much hard work and effort went into making this show (and I was even part of it in a small way) and all the footage shot by the lovely Chris Higgins!
this was awesome! thanks so much for sharing this. as someone who knows nothing about filming and production, seeing how this amazing show was created is just fascinating. the care & hard work you all put into this is already clear when you watch the show (headless is so so SO good) but seeing it here is its own kind of magic. :)
Thank you so much for making and sharing this! Always love getting to see the behind the scenes magic and seeing how the process works. It's beautiful when it goes from concept to the final form. ❤
I just did a full rewatch of Headless and it was so good to see it all again and the backstage hard work and shenanigans! I've been a patron of Shipwrecked for a long time and it's amazing to see how far things have come from KitR!
Thank you to Mary Kate for editing and Chris for filming! Seeing behind the scenes has always been very interesting to me and seeing how things come to life from concept to final product was so cool. I can’t wait to see what else you all have in store and also to hopefully visit Headless in the future someday!❤
This was such a great behind the scenes feature! Really well put together and it gives such a good impression of what it was like making the show. Such an interesting watch! 💖
It's so fun to see what went on behind the camera, and to see favourite scenes from another angle. The creativity and hard work and joy that went into this series is so palpable! These are honestly some of my absolute favourite characters now. ❤ Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you!!! This made my month! So great to see everyone behind the scenes. I still have so many questions, but there's more in the deluxe package, so.. Purchased 😄
This was so fun!I loved reliving the memories from the days I was there, and see all the bts from the days that I wasn't! Thanks for putting this together MK, it turned out so great!!
Wow!!! love seeing how you put this together :) It's so atmospheric- you guys built a truly magical world and put in so much work bring us a terrific show. Much thanks, stay gold!
I was watching the part where Lauren is explaining her name “like Mark Wahlberg” and then it cut away from that scene, but I was laughing so uncontrollably that my partner came into the room to check on me. And he was bemused that the bts had me laughing so hard, but I explained that just watching the beginning of the scene reminded me of when Sean said “I didn’t know there is a Mac Wahlberg” and MK trying to greet “Mac” and then Lauren saying “Mahrk, she can’t read?” Just typing about it made me start laughing again. I have to go.
Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful series and bts videos! I'm so glad Chris could be there to help capture bts! It really shows what a massive undertaking this whole show was, and yall pulled it off so well! Some of my favourite parts were the silly trivia answers, seeing how verla magically moves across the floor, Felicia with the sword after her "wrap" was called, and the happy dances at the end of each day/ anytime someone wrapped! Can't wait to see how things continue to get bigger and better for shipwrecked 💜
The memories. The magic. The heads. 😭
the fact that the last shot of whole filming schedule is The Slimening is just. so perfect to me.

Okay so when the fake bard fake-played the uke it was Jon standing behind the camera actively playing at the same moment? Oh my gosh I love that 9:44

The amount of jumping for joy in this was so wholesome. You can tell how much passion went into all of this. :D
Glad to see Headless was as fun to make as it was to watch. Can't wait to see what you guys manage to create next

It's so interesting seeing what order this all got filmed in.
The best time with the best people! :)
I was late to the premiere. But now I'm here to be delighted by the peek behind the curtain!

The times Lauren has worn a mustache (off the top of my head, I’m sure there are more 😂)
-Headless (obviously)
-Poe Party
-Twisted
-Holy Musical B@man
-Starship
Also: Spies are Forever.
“Hey Lauren, I’ve got a role I think you’d be perfect for”
“Will I have to wear a mustache?”
“No”
“Ok, but can I?”

I never realized how constant+present the freeway noise was....
"You look like the shipwrecked logo!"
