Or I would say: "please provide me with a quote and I will compare to other warranty sources and get back to you in a week if your quote is the best deal".
Why are you watching this, I'll play your game. "No problem Mr Customer, but let me share with you why we utilize the company we use for our purchasing programs, they are one of the top 4 insurers in the US and have paid out 99.2% of claims filed since 1997. In addition to that we have inspected the vehicle for pre existing problems and issues and that is why we can afford to offer such a great plan at the prices we offer, additionally we can fit this into your monthly budget to make it even more affordable upfront."
So, are you saying because it costs more to insure an older car, I should have concurrent policies? Sounds like the aftermarket insurer wants a free ride for the duration of the manufacturer's warranty. Also, I wonder if the aftermarket insurer will give me a full refund within the manufacturer's warranty period?
You have to wonder if the "recent conversation" with the "life insurance broker" really happened or if this is a fabricated anecdote. If it is, then the instructor is advocating being lying to a customer. You have to wonder what else he's lying about.
I have a question if I decide to go in to finance department would this be actually accredited vs traditional dealership finance class course training certificate licensed where they either have you fly or drive there to get certified. Would in it be easier your way ?
Hi Richard. The answer is Yes. In fact, we are one of only two licensed F&I Training Schools in the entire nation. We work with dealerships and students every day and schedule hundreds of interviews for our F&I students every month.
Okay this is strong. Thank you

A Vehicle Service Contract often times covers more than the Manufactures Warranty. Such as rental car coverage, free towing, etc.

Just four square and say the price they sign off on comes with a warranty. Avoid it completely until delivery.
The method you describe is dangerously close to payment packing - which is illegal.

Good besides the fumbles.
Great F&I Managers earn more from being authentic, than being robotic. Embrace the fumbles - there is a reason we didn't edit them out.
