But goddamn the parents though, if they didn't force Andrew to raise her all by himself and be there for her 24/7 both mentally and physically. That's why she is constantly needing his attention because she's already used to being neglected and has nobody in her life beside him.

He could've just told Ashley "You're a psycho, ain't no way im locking a person in a box just because you feel like it" and the only consequence would be that She holds a grudge against him, but she's still dependent on him because their parents are crap, so its either boycott the only person who cares about you over a grudge or be alone against the world. He could've held the Warden Hostage just like how he did with 302 lady. He could've NOT let 302 lady get a hold of the Nailgun, if he's telling the truth, and if he isn't he could not've been horny with someone into whose house he just broke in, and held hostage with a bloody fcking cleaver. He has no Excuse for his actions, he could've walked away at any point, but he willingly didn't, Ashley never had any leverage over him other than ratting him out about Nina, which would incriminate her aswell. Ashley doesn't and never had the power to make him do anything. She just puts him in bad situations, in which he ALWAYS finds the worst way to handle, and then blames her not just for the situation but also for his own poor judgement.
