For some reason, maybe it’s just because of me being used to it, but even in this role swap Ashley still comes off as bratty and Andrew the calm one. This is partly due to their game sprites, Ashley has always been more expressive and big with her emotions and Andrew calm. So their sprites give off different emotions despite the dialogue being the same.

I fumbled the dialogue modding/editing at that scene, and it still showed the original dialogue from the normal game instead of the modified one. There would've been a line being said by Ashley during that, while she was hugging Andrew. This bug has been fixed now, but too late to fix it for the video showcase since it's already uploaded.
I find it interesting that people recognize Ashley's personality much quicker as abusive when it is put on Andrew. Shows how in media, women with the "hot crazy psycho" archetype can be forgiven much more horrendous acts than if a man commited them. On the flip side, I personally think Ashley with Andrew's personality feels much more realistic? Like, if looking at how woman act in real life. Also shows that men are usually seen for, and written to be, a human first while women are seen for being a woman first and therefore written with specific female stereotypes, but we don't have to dive too deep into that. It is notable, however, that crazy/over the top personalities in media are usually given to woman which in a way also dehumanizes them since in reality, nobody acts like that. Guys are allowed to be themselves. Women have to portray some kind of archetype.
