So thank you for the time you have taken to add commentary that is both educational and interesting. Finally, I would like to congradulate you on your skills but more importantly your spearfishing ettiquette - I fully support the tenets that you displayed and discipline in only taking what you needed to feed your whanau. You my friend are awesome!
I remember that weekend being like no other- have never seen so many fish before. I really do get thrills off just trying to film fish as well. With spearfishing becoming more and more popular I think we need to be more mindful of our impacts

Snapper in NZ like to have a bit of cover- things like rocky gutters, ledges etc with weed. Thats normally a good place to start. Burley helps, not something I would advise in WA though. Not sure if Oz Snapper like the same sort of habitat though
