Ah yes, the old caster block. Its really pretty easy to swap out. Make sure you install the L on the Left and the R on the Right.
There are quite a few videos out about replacing the caster block, but none this informative, with great camera angles too. Much easier to follow. Thank you!

I put some new metal ones on my slash (caster block and steering block) and also put some new metal stub axle carriers along with A Arms. What I noticed is there’s a little play between all the parts, where they meet.
Also some play in the wheels, you can shake them a little. Is that normal and okay?
You can use some shims to take out the slop, but a little is normal.
Bandit Caster Blocks are raked 25 degrees. All others are 30 .
Thank you. I’ve actually been trying to figure out why the aluminum caster blocks specify 30 degrees, but also don’t specify the bandit.
My caster block snapped in half, including the pin going through it, what's it called?
The pin would be a “hinge pin” or “king pin”. Usually sold in a set.
How do you become an ounce of the wheel hub where the ball bearing is attached to?

Why does the Rustler have Allen screws 😩
Do you mean Phillips? The VXL vehicles come with Allen (hex) head screws and the brushed motor models were coming with Phillips head screws. I believe they have all since been updated to have Allen head hardware.
