Welp maybe they could make stary gems easier to get like give them in arena rewards flame shrine void vortex realms gate maybe even in scrolls and prophet orbs. Heck it could even be in the form of D tier stones that we could stack up. I just don't know at this point I am logging in every day for the past year as a f2p and having to wait 4 months for a b- isn't worth it. I won't even engage with this event be better to spend my csg for dt mats that would be a guaranteed upgrade. And with the puppets update it feels like they want the game to die, I mean fighting them feels lifeless and boring. Old heroes never get a chance to shine and get recognition, at least being in flame shrine helped me remember the fun I had when I started this game like 7 years ago.

as a F2P(not counting something really small from time to time), if they are going to give even less and less, I dont think I want to play anymore.... I need to get A- and B+ stone is best chance to get it, unless i want to sell all C- to B+ to slowly grind for who know how long to get 1A-
You know what would also solve this issue - just give us separate Fantasy (Foolish) Awaken Stones that allow for awakening heroes, but those awakened heroes can't be sold or regressed for SG. Like this would give everyone some way of getting those higher awakens and there would be no reason to abuse it with multi-accounts and bots. And this way they could control the market by releasing more fake Awakens or real Awakens stones.
Been watching your content for a few months IH is fun but glad to see you are covering afk journey the progression in IH is so slow f2p and this just makes it worse lol, glad I haven't been spending in that game there are better solutions like you mentioned than just nerfing it so unbelievably hard.
They just hate us. The solution would have been removing gifting starry gems. Problem solved! BTW, I think what they are missing is that this also hits lower to mid spenders that have an incentive to spend on regular session to get B+ copies. And a lot of lower spenders bring a ton of money

You said the exact same thing i was thinking: instead of trying to keep the playerbase intersted in the game when a new player of the same genre drops, they just do the opposite and make all players mad. Also if you keep the all the whales (i don't know how many are there) and all the other players quit, the whales too will run away because the game becomes dead
this is the danger - just end up with a few dozen die hard whales circle jerking and a bunch of chinese farmers feeding them SG, everyone else having just wandered off in disillusion to go find something better elsewhere. Already A- tier awakening with average luck will take f2p players rolling the galas ten years to get ONE, and that's only with average luck, unlucky players will likely never see one.
New flameshrine puppets are bad for those who don't have a massive treasure train (or lots of B, B+), got the Forest one and it was putting out stacks n stacks of dots that just nuked my heroes! (even with dot purify)
I think game will die in this year... They are add new power systems but as F2P or Low spender you can't eveen touch it. I don't feel any progress on my account for like 6 months DH doesn't give me enough loot to get huge upgrades....
DH has to finally implement the changes the Community is asking for for years like making switching materials easier, make the access to older power mechanics like starspawns easier etc

Lilith needs to capitalize on the influx of players by allowing people to progress further in their game between logouts otherwise a bunch will quit after getting fedup with how little F2Ps can do before having to wait on AFK rewards. Why do not many people seem to be as frustrated as I am with that aspect of Journey?
Somehow they always get away with it, I've been playing for 5 years now and there are multiple occasions a year when they screw up big time (translation wise, promise skins every gw season etc..) I wanted to quit so many times, but I have so much time and also some money invested in this game it feels like I'm abondoning my cat or something. I think thats the case for a lot of the older players. Anyhow, you and Barry are 100% right. I'm skipping this gala and save my 2B+ stones and starry gems for when they do have a decent event.

The reasoning being only to make more money makes this decision even worse for me personally. You want to counteract the scammers then reduce your fucking prices. Thousands of dollars for a single hero is absurd, hence why people will find a way to spend less to be able to justify it.

Be smart dh game if you would to fight black market, freeze the option of gifting sg for a while, or increase the percentage of transfer sg between accounts, all what you doing it's giving players more reason to quite the game
Just remove the option to gift. You could make an exception for accounts of the same player (just different servers) and work with content creators so that they can still do official giveaways. I don't know what gifting was ment for other than exploit and black market
the most players are below B in that GALA ... very very bad move from the dev's... but i guess they don't care for f2p / low spenders ... just keep adding more and more power systems ... only for big mama krakens it's so bad move... for sure some content will be pure very late / end game players and mama kraken .. but they just too much over pushed further for non kraken players .. not to mention some resources are so limited that you progress is close to none for periods of half a year plus ... someone wrote- just log and click auto all ... this is not a solution it makes it even bad ...
The entire soul awakening thing is a badly implemented game feature imo and then the AH, starry gifting and those silly soul boosting things that hardly anyone can afford to use anyway just complete the mess. They've wriggled themselves into one almighty tangle with it all imo. Now they're stuck fighting fires they started themselves.
No one wants to pay to finish last. Big whales spend more to beat/outperform smaller whales, smaller whales beat mid spenders, mid spenders beat low spenders, low spenders beat f2p, f2p beat new players who don't yet know any better. No one wants to come in last, and they *certainly* don't want to have to pay to come in last. If the f2p playerbase quits and the new players don't stick around, you're going to lose low spenders next, then the mid spenders, then the small whales, and if it's just you guys in OP as the only ones left playing, what's the point in spending 10s of thousands of dollars just to beat up on the SG bots?
The problem with having a boss, starry gem farmer will start trying to get a strong enough hero, yes it slows them down, but they'll find a way round it
In that case they just have to be creative. Maybe its a boss this time and maybe you need to sacrifice five specific hero copies next time. Super easy for most players but super annoying for farmers

You guys should get all the whales together and boycott spending when they do things like this. YOU have to MAKE them listen and pay attention. Otherwise they never will. If keeping auction house prices high is their "solution" then it'll only make black market gem buying more prevalent due to prices being high. I refuse to buy copies when they're 2/3 the cost of retirement value and absurdly high for A- and if it keeps going this way I'm going to be looking to sell my account due to this.
the old format session B+ stone reward was always at 200+ pts the top gala sub/core chest reward was always at 300 pts (until they added the 600pts prize).
How about instead of ruining the game to combat the prices from black market , DH adjusts their prices to make them better than black market so ppl wont buy from black market anymore?
