Knock on wood , westerns have been very good to me. Be running them for 16 years. 1000 lbs plows. With being large u need to have alot of weight behind them . Will cause the truck to go sideways without weight. We run around 4000 lbs in the spreaders in the bed. Not sure if they would be beneficial to u since it seems u do alot of driveways. I would think a v with a set of factory wings would work better. Only one way to find out , buy one .Around $6500 new . Sure u can find them used around there. Love the vids man ,keep them coming.

Andrew I had a Fisher stainless steel V plow when I owned my landscaping business. By far the best plow I ever owned. It can go through deep snow with ease.A friend of mine owned the extension plow, he said it worked best for parking lots but not on driveways because it would hold to much snow and would get the truck bogged down. I really like the older Yamaha sleds. If I remember correctly they were the first ones offering oil injection. I can't tell you how much I like your videos finding old snowmobiles and getting them running again.

When I was young like you, I had to work in a shop with no heat in the winter... after about my 4th-5th year I said no more... I will NEVER work in an unheated shop during the cold weather season again... not unless it’s because the heat is broken and I’m in the process of fixing it haha... I did save some money, but all things considered I don’t even think it was marginally worth it, but that’s what I had to do at the time, so I did it... having heated shop is just as necessary as having heat in your home imho... love this channel 👍🇺🇸
hi andrew you need to know that there are some great good videos you are doing and are always excited to see what new types of jobs you get, look forward to seeing new videos from you. lars from danmark👍🚜
It's refreshing to see so much work getting done with that raggedy-ass old truck; seems like every guy's got to have a $50,000+ super luxury truck nowadays (and then not necessarily get any work done).
John Heimberger plowing beats the shit outa the truck. I use 20 year old trucks then when it’s scratched or gets bumped or stuck it don’t matter parts are cheap at the junkyard. I run my old truck and far parts and labor I never spend over 1000$ per year the insurance is cheaper and no payments at all. Then if somebody wrecks me, I can buy two more trucks just like the wrecked one with the insurance check.
@@ericharris893 Very true, doing actual work really cuts the lifespan of these "work" trucks, they are so popular though in the USA that a 50,000 truck doesn't seem very crazy but if you use it for it's actual purpose and not just a concrete queen it does seem silly to put it to actual work doesn't it.
Always enjoy your videos Andrew. You are always doing something interesting. I seem to learn new things watching you work also. I like your attitude and style of figuring out how to just get things done.
It just goes to show you it does not have to be new equipment to get the job done. Awesome job and video. You get more work done with older vehicles then most do with new stuff. Have fun on the new toy.
You have a big heart bro, bless you, where we come from we call it looking after your elders or your neighborhood, your the man brother you put your life on the line to help others. theirs a heaven waiting for you bro.
I loved your old Yammy Ditch Banger Andrew. Reminds me being a kid and thinking I had the fastest snowmobile on Earth. Your videos are so cool. Learned a lot watching your plow sessions. Keep up the hard work and many subs will join our group. Stay strong Andrew.
There was a prime example of how the quality of your equipment does NOT effect the quality of your work. ITS THE OPERATOR! The man in the big fancy green truck with a nice Fisher plow (probably a $50,000-60,000 setup) did not know how to snowplow that job correctly and was unable to get er done. And then you have Andrew, with about a $5,000-10,000 setup coming to save the day in style! I'm sure your customers extremely value your expertise. Excellent video Andrew as always!
The quality of your videos are outstanding. We appreciate your EXTRA effort.

I was like.. Has he ever seen snow before
I remember those days living in the tundra and don't miss it! Winter's in Florida is so much more appealing to me now! Excellent work on the video and you definitely know how to plow!
Camarata Castle looks awesome in the snow 👍
Great video! Awesome snowmobile fix and snow plow instructions! It would seem a no brainer to drive it uphill without the plow and then come on down to plow it. It's your money and you deserve every penny. Sorry we didn't get Superman to move that truck sideways with his bare hands! I'm a big fan!
Andrew, you're a nice guy, dude! I like your snowmobile, too!
I really like the older Yamaha sleds. If I remember correctly they were the first ones offering oil injection. I can't tell you how much I like your videos finding old snowmobiles and getting them running again.
I love your videos, thank you for sharing, stay safe out there
Man I am a diesel mechanic. Have my own shop. I love doing the same things u do . My father owns a snow removal company. We have 6 dodges . And 14 loaders , 1 sand truck and 1 salt truck . . U do quality work ! Your honest ! U keep your word / deadline. Your a very very well rounded man . I think u do a wicket job on all your vedios and u explain what u are doing and how to do it on each job u do or every custom build u do . U never ever have anything bad to say about some one if they are doing a job that is not being done correctly. or if some one is operating equipment and u an see a better and much easier way to do the job u stand back and wait till they don't no what to do next then u offer your opinion! So have said that Andrew u should be proud of your accomplishments, how u grew your business and most of all u should be happy with how u treat people and how fair u are and the top top quality of all your work u do . Pat your self on the back my friend u are getting well over million views on your vedios.. keep it going man !!! I look forward to all your new vedios!!!

Thank you.
Aren't people a Hoot?? My dad had our bobcat stuck going up a hill and had rooted out a big hole where the tires were. Of course there were 20 empty beer cans throw all around the stuck machine. I arrived, looked at it and drove it out backwards. He looked at me and said "never thought of that." lol
I love you’re videos man, every time I watch a video I learn new tips and tricks. Keep up the good work👍🏽
You are a interesting young man. You work hard, figure out how to fix whatever and make great videos. Greetings from NC!
Man i have to say, i really apprepiciate all the time and effort you put into these videos. The camera angles you get are amazing, i can't imagine how much work that is for you. Really enjoyed this one!
Those new tires make a WORLD of difference going up that thar hill!! I was buttcrack sqwuezzin as you proceeded to the summit!!!
Funny me to, but I figured everything worked out since he posted the video.
He could have posted from bed in a full body cast
@@That1ufo OMG don't even SAY that!!!
Just this week, 2 TH-cams i follow have have videos in a hospital ! , and in the the last 16 months ive seen a heart attack, broken leg, an almost severed thumb put back on. If he breaks a leg what else is he going to do in bed to keep his mind off things?
I don't know much about snowmobiles, But I see two good things , It's a YAMAHA and It's a pull start (no battery to worry about). Great Video.
Am in Darwin, tropical part of Australia - and have never seen snow for real! Loved every second of ya video!!!! Cheers Mate ^_^
I appreciate what you did and what you give as help to people there.
We agree with most of your viewers,Always a super treat video. Thanks again and CHEERS for doing a super job.
Nice job on the Seat
First time I read that I thought you meant Seat, the car.
Always enjoy your videos Andrew. You are always doing something interesting. I seem to learn new things watching you work also. I like your attitude and style of figuring out how to just get things done.
You are exceptionally competent.
It just goes to show you it does not have to be new equipment to get the job done. Awesome job and video. You get more work done with older vehicles then most do with new stuff. Have fun on the new toy.
The quality of your videos is insane bro!!!! I love it 👍🏻 as far as the snowmobile, it does the job right? Still gonna send it! Lol
You have a big heart bro, bless you, where we come from we call it looking after your elders or your neighborhood, your the man brother you put your life on the line to help others. theirs a heaven waiting for you bro.
Thanks for showing me that's guy's house and drive at 5:10. I won't complain about my 200 ft drive with a 20% grade in it any more.
I admire Andrew's enthusiasm, energy, toughness, industry, patience. Also really seems to have a knack for making interesting videos.
Man what do you charge for that ridiculous driveway?
I loved your old Yammy Ditch Banger Andrew. Reminds me being a kid and thinking I had the fastest snowmobile on Earth. Your videos are so cool. Learned a lot watching your plow sessions. Keep up the hard work and many subs will join our group. Stay strong Andrew.
(: "Let's get this hill plowed."
God Bless Buddy.
