Yes, they are my favorite Pokémon.
My first Pokémon game was XD gale of Darkness and there are very few wild Pokemon and you have to get out of your way to find them (putting down bait in some locations) When I went to see what Pokemon was there, it was Aron. It wasn't only cool, it also almost anihilated my whole team and it often was a reliable Pokemon to fall back unto.

I've always liked Aggron! I was personally surprised it got a Mega and I think that may be my second favorite Mega after Mega Sceptile.
I used to love giving it Surf, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, and Thunderbolt to screw with my friends! The set SUCKED but it caught them off guard! And then I'd do the exact same moveset with Rhydon!

Back in ORAS I had hunted for a shiny Aron. It was female, and one of my coworkers at the time had a name that started with A. So I named her Abernanthy.
I like aggron and his line and I hope to use him one day during a playthrough of one of the games

The whole aron evo line is my favorite pokemon of all time, aggron is my most favorite of the 3 too, I wish Aggron had slightly better stats so it could become a full pseudo legend, but its just a little too weak for that, but overall still a nice pokemon that some may overlook in my opinion
Can't say Aggron is even close to being a favorite, but it's like one of the cooler kids in school. You hope they're in your class just because you like them a lot better than others. Aggron's got that kind of aura about it imo
You should do an Exact Same Moveset Theme Team!
I would do something like Aggron, Rhyperior, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Gyarados... and, uh... Rhydon...? With the moves Surf, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, and Ice Beam. It would suck (so big water weakness!) but oh well!

Aggron and Steelix are very close in terms of my favorite pokemon. I wish Steelix hit harder otherwise I'd definitely not even have to think about it lmao
I love that the shinies of the Aron evolution line have "evil" red eyes, and the regular versions have "good" blue eyes. 😊

I always use Aggron as one of my main pokemon in Gen 3. And I always make sure it has Rock Head ability. And I combine it with Double-Edge with that My Aggron was unstopable without loosing health.

Ever since gen 3 aggron has always been such a favoured Pokemon by me. It’s design is so cool it’s bulky got a decent typing and so easy to obtain. Don’t get me started on it’s mega. Looks monstrous
i agree with you the only drawback to aggron is its 4x weakness to fighting and ground
Decent typing? Weak to Water, Fire, Steel, Neutral to Grass, Electric, 4x weak to Ground, Fighting, Grass Knot, Low Kick, Energy Ball or Electric Ball if it's opponent happens to be a Resistant type with very high Special Attack, Low Special Defence and Speed, it really needs a lot to pull of a strategy with Aggron.

@@dreadalex it’s not weak to fire or steel? And it’s spDef isn’t the best but it isn’t atrocious. Also some good sets can happen because of its high amount of weaknesses plus weakness policy
@@con.d.yonkii6309 Still it's slow, and it's Special Defence is bad. Yes Fire is neutral but his bad Special Defence can't hold moves like Eruption, Overheat, Fire Blast if it had like base 150 Defence and 85-95 Special Defence, possibly another tier. On physical side there's no doubt.

no idea why you thought agron would outspeed centiscorch....but i suppose had you rock polished you may have got ko'd by heatran so it was a difficult spot to be in for sure
