Could use fiber optic cable as the strings. Not sure the tensile strength though. One could even light up each fiber optic cable/string to indicate which one the musician is on. Would need to scuff up the core to get the light to emit on the perimeter of the cable.
Oh honey! That crazy! 🎻🐝 I once had a 5 bee boxes, we had to keep them in the forest near to mangos trees. The bees were controlled with smoke screen. That violin/penca its bizarre, i would never have thought that someone would create something like that. What a catchy sound!
Of course Ray can play all of them and of course he played Flight of the Bumblebee. That was my first thought when I saw the beginning when they showed the bee violin. He never disappoints us. Always amazing.
I finally dowloaded that tonic app, and I just keep it on a private practice mode b/c I am definitely not feeling up to having people in yet. I've never practiced so much so consistently before. It feels like a delightful video game with xp points and outfits and your own character, its really creative.

It would be great to see your reaction on Chris Thile version of Bach violin concerto no.2, specially the andante. There are some videos of him explaining how is playing a violin concerto on his mandolin and it is really interesting
Mannequin Violin, Cylindric Violin, Boat Violin. If you like deformed Violins, I am always for a violin which has a sharp edge in the middle or different starting points for the strings. Violon and bow where you exchange the bow hair with the strings.
If I'm not mistaken, Rob Scllon made (or someone made and gave hime at ry) a guitar-bass guitar hybrid whrere they share the same neck. He play guitar on one side and then flip over to the other to play the bass guitar. I think you can make this like a violin/viola hybrid. I don't know. Oh speaking of Rob, he did play an instruments where the neck is essentially a tube with all kind of strings strung around it. The neck can rotate side way, as well as the bridge. Worth a try too.
Hi, maybe a video idea, playing violin and “convert” it to the chladni experiment, would be something cool while playing different pieces with various of difficulty and see what patterns a violin is able to make :)

These sure are curious experimental instruments. 😆 I'm wondering if they're capable of sounding good if someone practiced playing them long enough. I've seen - and heard - the Ripple Cello on Violin Torture's channel and it sounds nice. But I'm still not sure about the violin-based instruments, that's why I hope the ones used in these projects weren't too good before they got those overhauls... 😅 I could imagine using my first violin (worth about 180 USD) for something like that, but not the one I play at the moment - I'd cry if someone treated it like that (even though we don't get along sometimes). But I guess it's a matter of perspective: something that's too valuable for me, to be experimented on, doesn't feel like that to someone else. The Flight of the Bumblebee was the best part for me, plus the fact that Violin Torture keeps bees - they're so important! ☺ = They deserve to have a violin. 😁
you should do a violin but half of the violin is upside down and that upside down side should look like and amazon violin or you can merge 2 violins so 2 violinista can play them at the EXACT same time
