@@denordrerrie9275 I have driven an RS4 with the 2.9 l V6. It's a very nice engine, but sure, it's not a V8. Yes, some cars combine optionally classic chrome with black chrome (i.e. MB's Night Package or BMW's Shadow Line on the classic 7-Series), others go full black chrome like Audi but I'd definitely pick this option on the S7 as the silver hardware looks somehow scattered and messy all over the place upfront. Also 20" wheels make it look even sleeker from the side view.
Zenith Red don’t get me wrong...on some cars, the chrome does look more classic, and I probably prefer it on a more traditional luxury car. But on a real sports car, the more simple and contrast of white and black is more attractive.

Very Smart looking car. I love they haven't put that really ghastly looking 'gap' between the Grille and the bonnet that is meant to be a 'style' in many of the newer Audis. The Grille is also more upright than the older model, which is always better.
They can't. Govenment is putting extreme regulations on them and they basically have to pay a fine for every car that is sold with a V8. That is why they are downsizing. I expect BMW and Mercedes to follow along as well if they want to keep selling performance cars.
Unfortunately I am not a great lover of the brushed metal look, it can be too much and Audi needs to start to offer more options in the trim work i.e. different woods and wood finishes and gloss or Matt, carbon fibre, or plain black, or more leather. The same with the seats and interior carpets not much of a option to change the colours from black to grey. Not much of a choice and some newer leather colours needed and and more seat comfort setting

Great review, but I really like the cavernous sound. It's absolutely great from the outside considering it's a diesel. And when you pick the rear-wheel steering option I suppose these stay straight when in neutral or parking, right? Otherwise it would look awful with the car standing still :)
The interior is First class. The exterior is soft to me. Not a aggressive look like the previous model. Now it looks like the Q8 car wise. Doesn’t stand out like before. A shame.
Real tailpipes is a must on S/RS models! Also why drop from 420/450 to 350 hp on S model? The only thing I dan think of is that they will now have same 4.0 v8 petrol but in configs like AMG has with lower and higher output (Regular and performance RS model perhaps?) I am Audi driver but I gotta be held back on this one
I love it in white. Sure the fake exhaust is tacky. But the first thing I did with my S5 was put on a new exhaust so I'm not too concerned. I bet the aftermarket tuning potential here could be huge, as well as larger turbo upgrades since they could take advantage of the electric compressor.
The RS7 is a dream, but wtf is this thing? The fakest of fake exhaust and imagine buying the S7 in Europe....350 hp diesel with electric motor, but you pay less in the US for a 450 hp petrol? wtf is going on

The downside is why oh why use fake exhausts, just don't use them at all if you can't integrate real ones and less of an issue but for Audi it is a bit lazy the way the designers have integrated the sensors into the grill for me it spoils smart lines of the grill. These two gripes aside its a very elegant , fast, fine handling car which looks a bit different than the rest.

The intergrated lights at the back are a big turn off for me. I know a lot of people like the new look but I really loved the generation where the lights were apart.
Hmm.. I'll stick with my '17 S7. The front is too busy for me and the fake exhausts is laughable. I do like the interior upgrade, though, but not enough to trade in.
This is one sexy gorgeous car..fake pipes..hmmm...like you said.. 5meters and Fun! Such comfortable, direct and sport drive! That says it all! Yes power ON the hood ..😆 and also UNDER the hood. BTW can't wait for your Supra review you mentioned! Great job with this S7!
I read that Audi is shortly releasing full PHEV variants for Q5, A6, A7 & A8. The A8 system will have 443 bhp. Surely that is the right powertrain for S6/S7 in Europe if we can’t have the 2.9l petrol V6? This diesel seems backwards in comparison...
A lot of people here seem to have forgotten about the fact that Audi has made fast diesels for a long, long time. They dominated leMans with diesels. There’s the SQ7. And before that, they built a 6.0L, 500hp, 1000NM, twin turbo V12 that they put into a Q7, making it by far the wildest, stupidly performing, earth-spinnigly torquey, and insultingly ostentatious Full-size SUV of the mid-2000s. Oh, and the top-dog R8, above the v10, nearly was a Diesel V12. And It would have been A LOT faster. So please, give the Diesel some slack.
It would be easier to forgive if they didn't also give it fake exhaust tips and a terrible exhaust sound to go with it. Granted, diesel will never sound as good as petrol, but they didn't even try.
This is the Audi version so far since the A7. It’s pretty and full of muscles. So flawlessly designed and hopefully it is not only a Coupé and comes with 5 seats. Look at Thomas reviewing this S7 with great displayed pleasure. I feel the same pleasure watching.

Man, those 2 front cameras ruin the whole design, what the hell...
i know, what were they thinking..
What a beautiful interior!
What is longer in the trunk with seats fold down, this or the panamera?
Dear Autogefühl, would you say that the S-Airsuspension in the SQ5 is stiffer than the airsuspension in the S7?
I think yes
A bit cheeky of Audi to fit fake exhaust tips. Nonetheless a very cool car especially in white with black exterior trim pack. I like it.
What equipment do you use to film the POV view in the car?
This is the Audi version so far since the A7. It’s pretty and full of muscles. So flawlessly designed and hopefully it is not only a Coupé and comes with 5 seats.
Look at Thomas reviewing this S7 with great displayed pleasure. I feel the same pleasure watching.
Definitely not flawless. The most outstanding part in this is the infotainment system.
