My apologies, I've been overwhelmed with Family, Household, & Bike issues (bike work) and I was quite baked when I recorded. hahaha So my heads been going crazy & didnt think to mention more details! haha Between all of the parts I used 2 full cans of flake & like 90% of the 3rd. 5 cans of the Base used & 4 cans of the Clear used Flake was done when I was happy with the amount applied. (just call it 3 cans) Clear was 4 coats. Very few tiny bumps in the finished products from the flake sticking up into the clear. Not enough for me to justify sanding it smooth & NONE are visual. I actually couldnt feel a single bump in the rear fender tho! :) ZERO issues with the paint before, during, or after painting! (one small out of view run from how the rear fender is shaped, allowing the base coat to pool up unnoticed) BUT, a respirator is an absolute MUST with this! I've rattle canned before without a mask (lesser quality) But this paint had quite the fumes! Just finished some DIY throttle cables (oem too short for new bars) Only need to swap the VTX masters, bleed etc Clean up the engine covers & polish them up a bit more. Then I'll be taking the bike outside in the grass & installing the bodywork, followed by the finished video. (unless its cloudy)
