I have had some chip out similar to the cutting board you made. Instead of filling it , I just took it to the table saw and shaved a minimal amount off and again to the router table. It worked out well. My first time here. I'll be back.

John, they came up fantastic! Another great video but I have to admit something. I'm an Aussie with Irish heritage (in Limerick) and another Aussie TH-cam woodworker mentioned your work, and I commented that as a happily straight and married man I am pretty sure I have a crush on you. Funny thing is two other Aussie woodworkers agreed!!! HAHAH cheers mate.

Lovely stuff John, hard to pick a favourite. The interlocking boards are a great idea but the spalted Maple is just beautiful. I like to rout in a couple of finger holds on the butchers blocks. Makes them much easier to pick up when fully loaded and you don't have to drag them across the counter either. Thanks again, always look forward to your videos (The lighting is good now too, save that setting !)

Hey John, good idea on the whiskey. What kind do you like sipping on? I live in the Tennessee mountains so of course I prefer Jack Daniels. Anyway excellent boards, they all look beautiful and I especially like the 3 piece set ( charcuterie , cold cuts serving tray or whatever you may call it). I think I will make my wife something like that for Christmas. Take care and i just stumbled upon your channel and I hit the subscribe button.
