The Aguila is actually the one that mushroomed pretty well. If you read the box the Silver Tip are actually 'segmenting hollow points' so they're petals are known to break apart in like 3 or pieces, instead of mushroom out like a regular hollow point.
Not sure about anyone else but I was surprised by the size of the hole these rounds made and really thought .22 was only good for plinking, might have to reconsider my thoughts on the matter. So thanks for the video!
Love it! That Velocitor is quite impressive. Especially out of a pistol. How reliable is it overall as a pistol round? Any misfires or issues noticed? Next up...rifle test please.

Please post more testing of more rounds and add in some barriers, like clothing, glass, etc... Oh yeah, your cameraman should be able to make a mean loaf of bread after this. :)
To bad you didn't shoot both rounds into the clay side by side to be able to compare easier, I think both would have fit into the block without touching or blowing out the side. Hey I guess you could make that a good short lol, good job tho always great information 👍
I have a old 38 but recently with ammo prices i've picked up a eight shot 22LR ruger LCR revolver. I would not want to get shot with these rounds. Now if I could just find the ammo!

From what I hear the Federal 22lr punch is the new King of 22lr self defense

Not entirely, it's just a flat nose meant for more penetration. It'll do great but im sure Supermaximum may have it better but it needs to be tested

Federal Punch is really good. I still buy Stinger, I can't find velocitor. CCI is coming out with a new ammo called UPPERCUT.

This would be an interesting test out of a rifle.
If you get a chance try the Aguila Interceptor in hollow and solid points. Very similar to Velocitors.
Use a guitar wire and cut it in half that way you can see the damage within. Good video
