disappointing to see you are not part of the latest JCS production, if indeed JCS didn't sell off his channel to an indifferent investor. Can you shed any light on what has happened there? Your talents are sorely missed. You are a one-of-a-kind gem.
I’m sure you’re tired of hearing this but I really hope JCS reposts the new video with your authentic voice. It was your voice that drew so many people to the channel. Truly no one has done it like you can. I rarely comment on videos but I just want to let you know that you are insanely talented and they made a huge mistake not including you in the video.
Thanks. To be fair, they included me as a link. But they used AI to save time, though some of what caused so much time between videos the past couple years have been personal struggles. They now know using AI was a mistake, and they will take more time in the future to use my authentic voice.
@@kizzume im so happy to hear that.. I'm sorry if this is weird, but your narration, your voice is what I think of as my time in law school during highschool. When I think of those days I think of you, I hope there will be more videos to fuel the nostalgia :D
I need to start going on walks more. Sucks that its winter now, as I hate the cold, but luckily its not snowing yet here in NYC, so I should probably get on that
I wish it were that nice here! Sadly, it's -26-er, I mean, -14.8°F. Windy and icy. I really like the crunch of the leaves with every step. Very cathartic. Just like your voice :) Take care!
This is such a mood. I have these bothersome floaters in my eyes that are much more noticeable on bright, sunny days. I wish I could hold the earth still in exactly these sorts of conditions.
I have a floater in my left eye that is like a squiggly line (when I can catch it and actually see it when staring at a solid color). Extremely frustrating, I’ve often mistaken it for a gnat lol, so I know exactly what you mean when it comes to seeing them during those bright sunny days. Optometrist said all is well. Somehow have 20/20 vision, but hey, at least it’s just a floater and not something like losing our vision, yea? I think I can deal with it as long as I can continue seeing.
I enjoy the fog. It's a gentle companion on walks. FERN HILL! You are fortunate to live in such a vital, beautiful, history-laden neighborhood. Thank you for taking us on this virtual walk with you, Kizzume. I assume you're familiar with Dylan Thomas' famous poem of the same name?
I loved this video. I am sorry to be here due to the latest JCS video AI voice fiasco. But… could you please shed some light on why the AI replaced you? I’m out of work these days due to AI issues in the animation industry, so I am sympathetic and horrified that happened to you.
The PNW is so pretty. I have been fascinated with it ever since I learned about it playing Alan Wake (I live in Germany). Thanks for sharing the nice walk. I found your channel because I like JCS's videos and people mentioned your name as the narrator and they also explained why the voice sounded so unnatural lately. We've gotten so used to your voice in their videos and both the writers and you got a lot of us into True Crime. I'm kinda shocked at the turns the channel is taking. Thanks for contributing to all those interesting videos. The thing I'm wondering the most is, how does the process work? Does he just send you the video script with director's instructions on where to put emphasis etc? Are you trained in narrating or did he just find your channel, like your voice and approach you? Don't mean to pry, it'd be really cool if you would answer some of these questions. I also like your own videos. You seem like you think about things a lot and it's a great way to express yourself. Keep up your outlook, it's very genuine. PS: Just saw your view on universal healthcare and wanted to respond to that. In Germany, we like to think we have universal healthcare and we kinda do. I think, in general, that's a good thing, and it seems better than what is happening in America, but it is definitely far from perfect. It is divided into public and private healthcare. The public side is what differs more from the American system, and the problem with it is that the various public insurance agencies decide very arbitrarily on what is covered and what isn't. It isn't exactly cheap, I pay about 200€ a month, and that is the student rate, it can go much higher for some people. I barely ever go to the doctor or hospital, and the few times that I did, a lot of the time, you still have to pay for everything yourself because what you need isn't on the insurance's arbitrary little list. My friend needs glasses and has to pay for most of that himself despite having insurance. In short, it kinda feels like a scam. I agree with you that universal healthcare is a great thing to strive for, and it feels like a lot of Americans I've talked to about it disagree with the most fundamental thought behind it - being that it is, by nature, built on solidarity, which means "healthy" people will pay more into than they will get out of it. I'm just saying it is very prone to exploitation. Our system might be better than America's, but it doesn't feel great. I don't wanna put down your opinion on it, but it always feels strange when Americans "from the left" point to Northern and Central European countries and pretend like we have it all figured out.
Yep, I'm in Tacoma. I considered driving to Steilacoom and get the footage there, it's such a nice little town, but I didn't know if it would have been as foggy.
Came here after I was curious about the lack of youe voice in the new JCS. Stayed for the actually intelligent poltical opinons that arent so black and white and nice nature walks (:
I hope it's not considered rude to ask but just curious what type of camera you're using and if you'd have any recommendations for models of microSD cards with a lot of storage without compromising write speeds/resolution. Also do you use a mount of some kind to keep it stable ? Footsteps don't seem to affect it at all. Always wanted to try recording long hikes but my hardware expertise is equal to a goldfish. Love your scenic walks they help me relax everytime I watch! Cheers
It's shameful that I have such a camera, but I love it. I feel very fortunate to have been in a situation where acquiring it was even possible. It's a Sony A7Siii. I don't know about the current differences between microSD cards--I just got the one that could handle this camera. I use a Crane Plus to stabilize the camera.
I just listen to the surroundings, though on a lot of these walks, there will be a song going through my head and I'll say which one, maybe sing a short line from it, or say the line as a lyric.

The AI should be temporary.
@@kizzumeI agree. So many knockoff wannabes but there's only one you. I think everyone on TH-cam knows who you are by now :)

Nice to see you doing OK. Beautiful scenery hopefully we get to hear you and jcs videos soon.
Be safe ... always look around .
Yeah, you never know when you'll run into a lone figure who starts narrating the case files of the last time you were seen alive 😂😱
@ I know I'd want this gentleman to narrate it
Looks like a video game. Very cool, great camera and great vibes
Right on!
