Sadly I fell pray to that as well, as I watched it I was wondering why they weren't hitting (Since I already know how accurate they are) but the moment I saw the kind of effects used when the aircraft was hit, realized it was a game.

Bravo 2 lol let’s see you do any better. They are close in air defense and shooting chit down from far away. If you were deployed and a plane or missile was closing in you would thank your lucky stars for this. I’ll bet you never served or you would get it.

If U.S. tests their CIWS on their on planes it succeeds, then they need to upgrade their planes to be able to avoid them. Then if the CIWS becomes unable to hit/detect these upgraded planes, U.S. military gotta upgrade their CIWS to be able to hit them. Do we go into an infinite loop?
Sure, but they are shot upwards, meaning they _fall_ down. Things that fall down don't build up more speed the longer they fall, you maybe have heard the myth that a coin falling from the top of the Empire State Building will kill somebody - that is _never_ going to happen

If anything pops up on radar in their area not designated as friendly a short alarm goes off it's the "get the fuck away from the robot guns alarm because they are about to go ape shit" every 5th bullet is a tracer and it looks like a laser line but there's 4 more bullets you don't see in between each one.. Its a lot of bullets and not much makes it through..
Yes, the Phalanx is a real weapon, we had 2 of them on the ship I was on in the 1980's (USS Roanoke AOR-7) and no sadly it's not available. This I'm sure you know is a video game.
