Very good advice. If you give someone a job to do, don't keep looking over their shoulder!

There's only one Church, @Pastor Wells, and they are the people who are called and living the Nomadic Messenger life Jesus the Christ lived and said "is the only way to Father God, and studying the entire Bible will reveal those in the Bible were actually "called out of the world" are few in number. Jesus made it clear that only 10% of man will be saved from the world's ending Scenario.

Where do you see that 10% in the Bible friend? Jesus did not call anyone to live a nomadic life. He said repent and believe. It's not about your works and efforts it's about Jesus and what He did. You have to believe in the person and works of Christ, not your own.

The Old Testament's Tithe and New Testiment's 10 Virgins,@@CraigBeer123,are the same thing and YHVH's people who are to be "Saved" from the world's ending Scenario. A farmer's Harvest always includes what goes to market (Rev 20:5s rest of the dead), they eat/preserve and enough to plant during the next sowing season (the surviving Virgins and the "Dead in Christ of Rev 20:4.) (My daddy was a farmer is why I know.)

Also,@@CraigBeer123, beginning at age 12 Jesus lived nomadic until ascending, he also said he was "the way (God's children lives), the truth and the life (God's children are to live)" in order to get to the Father. What He said in Matthew 6:24-29 tells us how man loved in Genesis 1:28-29 is also how we're to live.

The word Tithe,@@CraigBeer123,means 10% and is what the 10 Virgins represents, God's harvest of his "Sons" or children.

@@elijahnatureboy Actually, the tithe was an Old Testament provision and is not required on the church today. We are to give voluntarily and there is no set percentage. Following the example of Christ, who gave even his life (2 Cor 8:9), we should cheerfully give as much as we have decided (2 Cor 9:7) based on how much the Lord has prospered us (1 Cor 16:2), knowing that we reap in proportion to what we sow (2 Cor 9:6) and that we will ultimately give account for our deeds (Romans 14:12). The parable of the 10 virgins points to our preparedness for Christ's return. The 5 Virgins that had enough oil are representative of believers that are born again and are true followers of Christ and are ready for His (the Groom) return. The 5 Virgins that don't have enough oil, are false believers that while they look like they are followers, are not. They are not ready and will left outside once the Groom (Christ) returns. Please Mr Alexander, read your bible, do not be misled by false teachings, do not be counted among the 5 foolish virgins.
