Its a guarantee that you will have no marriage in less than three to seven years. Its a well thought out sysyem of "Family Destruction".The wicked pschologist has reversed roles: women are placed at the head of the family. She is empowered , she is financed and she is miseducated about culture. She puts oyt the husband, she collects a check and now she is burden down with all the family responsibilies. The kids get unruley and he / she affects negatively. Then the cry goes up " Where is the Father? " Society now blames the family disfunction on the abscent father that they exoelled from the house.

I have advised many young Men against this. There is no Jesus in any woman, when they have upper hand against their Man. They can do and undo.
I travel regularly and return to Nigeria after official trips in different countries. You are better and free in your country, irrespective of any economic issues.
Even if the woman has 3 kids for you, she will change anytime she has the opportunity better than you. There are still few good women. However, the % of the sober and good ones are extremely low.

What a STUPID thing to say. No wonder your country is continuously falling from worse to various levels of hell on earth. In the UK we DO want the family to stick together as it is better for the children and society as a whole. But we do not want abusive families. If the Metropolitan police (which covers the Greater London area therefore is not the national police force) have made these recommendations then it is an issue. All you guys think about is money. Yes we only want those in dire need to get help as to prevent a strain on the budget but the budget is not much to actually live on. But we try to make sure no one goes hungry. It's not the money it's about what happens to the children. Single parent home are a bedrock of kids in gangs and crime which leads to more problems for them and society as a whole. I know it's very difficult for people like you to think of problems affecting your pocket but not society as a whole.

If the British police are sounding the alarm, trust the British to start adjusting some aspects of the law to say the woman must prove conclusively that there is violence from the man before ejecting him from the home. They may even start interviewing the children, the GP to see if the woman was abused by the man and also ask the local police to see if many reports were lodged with them to prove that the woman was being abused. That is how the British are. They changed the rules when too many Nigerians were flying into the country to get healthcare treatment on the NHS, they changed the rules about pregnant Africans jetting into the country and applying for housing after giving birth here. We should stop abusing good laws that are meant to be used to help us when we are in trouble, not to use them to settle scores, grudges and grievances.

I donot question the truth in the stories they shared but we need an unbiased discussion. It would be good to hear from some one who understands why this is prominent with nigerian women. I am not Nigerian byt African living in Europe and marraige in Europe between africans need both to understand the system and support each other. E.g. husband and wife both work 12 hrs shifts and husband expects the wife to cook everyday? I don't mind cooking and I love it as this is how I was brought up for mynhusband. luckily my husband understands and takes some time to cook sometimes. Until issues like these are discussed and both decide how they want to support each other in the marriage, I am afraid the situation will not change.

You can resolve this amicably or get a peaceful divorce. There’s ups and downs in marriage that doesn’t mean things should be done in bitterness. Think of the children. Tomorrow the children may become unhappy, depressed in life, have low self esteem or even become a serious problem to you and the society all this pain they feel it sometimes, the absence of a parent. Bro,
The UK has a very highly educated, well-led and informed police force. They are aware that every community has its own issue whether it be honour killings, arranged marriage among Asians or whatever, they will study and address it. They often seek to recruit people from these communities to join the force for inclusivity. And at one time they were looking for Yoruba speakers to join. In this particular case, the police were addressing Yoruba women not anyone else. The full video is available online. But somehow, some people out there would rather twist the narrative and get everyone else embroiled in order to avoid addressing their own issue. Now the simple advice to a single, specific Nigerian community has morphed into Nigerian women, African women, black women...bullocks.

This is one of the carefully curated comments on here. We have learned absolutely nothing from these men. Is the problem the British police complaint or the embarrassment we face as Nigerians? I have lived in the UK for years and am currently in North America. Here are a few fun facts. Domestic abuse in Canada today is highest among two groups of migrants: the Nigerians and the Indian community. The complaints from the police is simply to reduce the pressure on taxpayer pounds each time officers are deployed to de-escalate domestic violence or knife crimes among the children we have failed. Any home with cracks in Nigeria will crack further when you relocate. The reason is simple, people don't prepare for relocation. Manage your expectations: You have economic, psychological and cultural orientation preparedness. The failure of most Nigerian men and women to adapt to the changes and challenges of their new environment is the reason for domestic abuse leading to the police involvement. The problem isn't nursing school or IT jobs, it is the individual's lack of insight and consideration for their spouse and personal family dynamics. We must not sell the false narrative that a particular profession makes a person disrespectful. You can't be a housewife in Nigeria who pays no bills and expects to continue the same lifestyle here. You also cannot expect a woman who has spent 12 hours on her feet to come home, take care of kids, and start serving you pounded yam at night when you come home from an 8-hour job. Always express fairness, empathy, and consideration for one another. I have had to save Nigerians from jail time and deportation by helping them agree to commit to a structured program for 26 weeks on anger management, behavioral therapy, and communication skills. They all argue at the beginning but guess what? They mostly emerge as sterling people in the end, provided they stay for the duration of the program. The alternative is to have a criminal conviction cemented on you so they behave. The women might have their peculiar problems, but what kind of man beats his wife and expects her not to call the police? Do you beat your female coworkers when you are upset in the office? You don't because you understand the consequences. Remember, the impact of abuse on your children!! They either gravitate towards that in the future or condone abuse because it looked normal growing up. You come from Nigeria with bad driving habits but suddenly unlearn to pass a test and behave better because of stiff consequences. What stops you from being a better husband or wife, What stops you from being a better communicator? What stops you from helping your wife or husband out with the kids and the bills? What stops you from taking anger management classes? What stops you from behavioral therapy. The church and the pastors are not trained or equipped to de-escalate these situations and that is why a tone of domestic abuse is within the church community is on the rise. If we don't start to educate our men better as the head of the home, a lot of them will end up in jail living in the west. The ripple effect will be, broken homes, and badly brought up boys and girls who might end up in crime or teenage pregnancy. Disclaimer: Not every single parent house hold ends up this way.

It is unfortunate that I haven’t seen any comments were anyone has questioned what happened that a woman start behaving otherwise.
I lived in Europe and America and I have seen were a man brings a woman, trained her and continue to love her and giving her the due attention, “assisting her in the house” and the woman called the police to remove the man from the house just because she is ending good money. Every woman wants the love of a man. If for no reason a woman who is loved by her husband and who is engaged in his house and the woman call the polio him, it means the woman did not love the woman in the first place!!!
The men do change and expect the wife to work full time and take care of the house and the kids by herself full time! Living abroad is different from living in Africa/Nigeria where couples have 2 to 3 maids plus relatives helping out in the house. The African man forgets that this help is completely unavailable abroad and they want the woman to do to everything by herself and still work full time!
What we Africans fail to understand is that, when the body is too tired, it can generate aggressive towards your children and your spouse! This is something Africans have to understand. Life has to be balanced for the whole family to live in peace.
But once a man takes a woman abroad, you become like a slave, you go to school and have kids for your husband you have to work full time and contribute to the house expense’s 50% and you have the house and the kids full time.
African says we are Africans, they cannot be doing house chops. They forget the the woman in Africa most of the time do not work and have maids to assist in the house! She has all she needs from her husband, her body is cool and balanced. Her husband does not red to help in the house!
The same me who do not want to assist in the house still expect their wives to work. They forget that the woman in Africa do not do the things the woman abroad is expected to do!
I wish I could call the program.
The narrative that is put out there is just that woman call police on their husbands. What happened before then is far in the background and is not discussed.

(Eph. 5:22-23)" But it is also written: "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles domineer over them, and those in high position exercise authority over them. It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many'. You heard Mayor Akinpelu. Apparently, here is a very good argument to be used by Nigerian mother-in-laws to persuade their daughter-in-laws to stay after a husband's affair: 'You cannot leave your husband just because he cheated on you with another woman, do you know how many affairs I had to endure from your father? This is just how men are!' And Tiger Woods, "the victim" of American divorce laws, confessed to having had 120 mistresses during his 6-year marriage; including the next door neighbor's daughter! He was found out because he was practically caught in the act with one of his side women. Yes, it is remarkable that the UK police singled out Nigerian women. When the woman call the police, they will have to do their job and follow the rules of their job . Men find it weird, irresponsible, and not man enough to report their wife to the police.
If the man called the police for the wife, similar thing will happen

The man abused life out of her , such a humble lady , this man treated her like trash despite she was pregnant for him and filling his document so that both of them will move back to the UK together . Her husband neighbours in Nigeria were the one who told her to run for her life , leave the man and go back , which she finally did ... when she got to the UK she informed the Home office about the situation and cancelled the application. • @HealthonDemandTG
      @HealthonDemandTG 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

There are no maids in the UK so most Indian men are bread winners sometimes taking on 2 jobs to feed the family while the women are homemakers taking care of everything at home or work parttime. With our man they expect women to take on fulltime jobs like them but when they get home they put their feet up expecting women to do everything even though she is coming from a 12 hr shift! This is one of the major contributors to divorce among African migrants to Europe. One salary is usually not enough so while its a good thing for both to earn an income it should be common sense too that the women gets tired and both should do chores around the house. Our men need to adjust to this reality, its part of industrialised societies. Another thing is Indians live in large households so you wld find mother in law and husbands siblings are also in that house, so all those pple help out with house chores while the woman of the house is at work. Some Asians save up to buy home before marrying which means they have no rent bills. They dont run around in expensive vehicles while renting like our brothers do. So they dont have financial pressure and their wives can afford to stay home or take on parttime jobs.
