My favorite part is the pause at 11:37 to 11:58. I can 100% relate to that need to pause to ensure the build is going to plan. Edit: I followed these videos exclusively when I assembled the MS660. Best build videos on the tube. Watching this, because this is my next kit to tackle.
@@mikeclement5383 I'm not a fan of 60cc saws. The 361 is actually 59cc but I consider it a 60cc class. The 440 is very torquey. I'd much rather use it than a 361.
I built a MS-440 kit and used your videos for that. My 440 is a beast. But I’m doing the 361 now. Both will be ported and timed. Thanks for the content. If you build a 440 you’ll be happy with it…. I recommend opening up the lower transfers

No, you don't use gasket maker on a case gasket or any gasket. The guys using it don't know what they are doing. Stihl doesnt use it. No auto manufacturers, or tractor manufacturers use a gasket maker on a gasket.
Great never saw a chain saw motor taken apart we are waiting for part 2
God Bless All

Thanks 👍

I am glad you like my videos. The 361 kit is pretty nice. I really like the 440 kit.
@@TractorTech is the 440 similar to the 361? Would you recommend I do one over the other?

@@TractorTech Looks like I'm going to do a 440 instead. I can't wait until my Forester bar comes in. I want to cut some trees with my 660

Can you help ? What is the torque setting for the four cylinder bolts on an MS361? Many thanks.

It's way harder than this video makes it look. DO NOT expect everything to line up; this video should be much longer and in depth.
Thanks for watching!
Interesting video Roger. I guess I'm a little behind on your video. Are you building a saw up from parts?
Have a great one, and nice video. Jason
Yes, building it piece by piece. Thanks for watching!
Do you have the pdf of the IPL or service manual?

Roger, you look pained brother😂
What do you mean?
You don't use gasket sealer on the case gasket? I see most builders using it to ensure no leaks. Wondered how it holding up
