Really interesting to see a beach in Kenya. Not a lot's of people who swim.

Mombasa is an Island, and you get to see lots of beach hotels.
The tides were low. Those who were swimming, were mainly locals. Usually it is packed with people when there are full tides, plus July/August the sea is very rough.

You must come to Kenya. You can even take a Cruise. Recently there was a Cruise ship that docked at Mombasa Port - The Norwegian Dawn. I am sure you and Ron will have a great time.
The Camel was resting, and yes they usually lay down in that position. It was amazing to watch them resting. Thank you my Rambler friends for watching and lovely comments and great support. Welcome to Kenya and the Port City of Mombasa.
