Wow, what a nice set-up. The old school electronics section is super cool. The 70s/80s era of personal computers and video games is endlessly fascinating. I was one of those kids who upgraded from Atari 2600 to Commodore 64. Trying not to collect 80s consoles but it's getting pretty tough to resist the temptation, haha 🎮 "Coffee & Plastic" is a great name for a podcast. Just talk toys over a coffee or two. Coffee is legit a big part of my toy fair experience. Always get a flat white with two for my "browsing lap" lol ☕ _Gummi Bears_ had a great theme song, the chorus is bona fide earworm 💯
Ed thanks for this amazing video, it was really great to see this shop. Can't wait to see the next one. Keep up the great work. Greetings from Vienna Austria
Coffee and plasitc love! Might be a great idea to combine a coffee tasting with vintage plastic. Which kind of coffee goes best with a vintage sticky Turtle?
Col BraveStar was a weird one. I thought Turly Gang was all muscular turtles….there’s so much more good/bad things to love. 😂 Thanks for another toy hunt. 👍
I picked up the Turku Gang plane on card last month at a toy fair in Auckland. I’ve never seen Turku Gang here so to find something on card was cool and it had to come home with me
The Throttlebots were interesting-the next phase in the cheaper Minibot style characters like Bumblebee. One of them, Goldbug, is the matured/evolved version of Bee. That blue one you and Vince had Freeway (Chase was a red car)-I had like half the set back in the day. A third party company updated them a few years back and even made them into a combiner. Alas, the orange dump truck Wideload got downgraded into a Humvee for those versions.
I think a lot of us mid-late 80s kids jumped off the power ranger bandwagon after the movie like you did. They changed up so many actors around that time and switched to Zeo. That’s when almost all of my friends jumped out too.
Although I no longer belonged to the target group that Power Rangers was aimed at, I was attracted to it because of my affection for Bioman as a teenager and the dino theme. Maniac Mansion, man what a great game
Love power rangers I still have my original green ranger and dragonzord. Also, have a original dragon dagger plus i have some of the other megazords but agree with Ed that after the movie it started to get bad but I kept watching because of Jason David Frank.
@@EdsRetroGeekOut please look them up. The p40 plane is the gem of the set with the iron panther tank complete being second plus one mail away figure and two bunker sets a jeep and a small motorcycle with a figure it's a really fun line for what it is
Great looking store! So frustrating for me to look through things on the peg when they only have a single hole and no j-hook. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I know Power Rangers was pretty popular when I was a kid/teen but I just didn't get the appeal. I felt the costumes, choreography & acting were kinda lame ... at least to me anyway & I still do. If you like it more power to ya but it's just not my thing.
It was great fun seeing you in my shop. Thanks for making a nice video. Always welcome for another coffee 😉
I like the retro selection of tech, I do my own repairs too :) working on an old pentium 3 laptop atm.
I think Matti & Renzo are coming to check out some games 😁
Love the vintage computers especially love finding European exclusive ones thst didn't get here in uk
I love when stores have their own peg bag thingy.
Always feels a bit more professional.
For sure
What a lovely day that was. Plastic & coffee first. Sunshine second.
Coffee is the best 😎
Op naar Eindhoven!! Thnx voor het filmpje Ed❤😊 heb nog wat star wars poppetjes nodig😅
Aw yeaaah 🤘

There needs to be more and better coffee at conventions 😝
Yes! I find that the paper cup of low quality gas station coffee enroute to a toy show or shop is also part of the ritual for me.
@@EdsRetroGeekOut Sugar! That's my way of dealing with dodgy con coffee. Drown it with sugar, 3-4 sachets at a time lol
Nice to see all these toys. Thanks for showing
Thanks for watching
Nice shop😊 Not that far from where I live. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching 🤓

Very nice to see all these there 🤓
Col BraveStar was a weird one. I thought Turly Gang was all muscular turtles….there’s so much more good/bad things to love. 😂 Thanks for another toy hunt. 👍
Oh there’s a lot of non turtle looking figures from the galaxy warrior line the bear one is all toxic green I would love to own that
Nice! Maniac mansion was one of my favs on NES.. I didn't realize it was an atari game! Always learning something new from the channel!
Even on the nes it still feels like more of a pc game 🤓
Those turtle knockoffs are the best.
Thanks buddy
Great shirt! I love Less Than Jake, and your videos.
Gonna see em in August 🙌
I saw them last July@EdsRetroGeekOut
I picked up the Turku Gang plane on card last month at a toy fair in Auckland. I’ve never seen Turku Gang here so to find something on card was cool and it had to come home with me

Excellent store!
Agreed buddy 😁
Love the decendants shirt man
Gonna see em in August 🤘☕️ they’re one of my favorite bands

Flagg-on-a-budget 🙂

Also beast wars happened that was the next cool thing at our school 😅
Fantastic ed
Thank you kindly
General Blitz is from the 5 inch Sgt. Savage line that came after G.I. Joe and before G.I. Joe Extreme.
The 90s was a turbulent time and joes were suffering
Cool shop! Oh, I also attended the live show of the Power Rangers (at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp) 😄 I still have some souvenirs from that show 🤓
I stil have the tourmagazine but not the light up sword 😅
@@EdsRetroGeekOut Oh yeah, all I have left from that sword is the flashlight. No idea where the rest of it went 😅

Hi Ed! Don't get me Wrong!? I love Modern Day Toys. But you Definitely can't Beat the Original Vintage Toys! 😎😎😎👍👍
Aw yeaah

In het najaar wellicht 🤓

The dragon dagger was cool 😁
Found col borobot in a thrift store 3 weeks ago for $1 with some other bravestarr gobots and transformers
Awesome 🤘
Sgt savage from gi Joe is a different size not well suppored but a great looking line
I had one growing up 😎
@@EdsRetroGeekOut I'm going for a complete in box set. The vehicles are really cool.

Does any one know what the name of the green dragon is in the power rangers case? 6:00 in video
Serpentera from MMPR season 2 or Daijinryuu from Gosei Sentai Dairanger
Epic
How about Hentai Power Rangers? 😆 that‘s something I would pay attention 😉
That probably exists 😅
