7 Days To Die is NOTHING LIKE Day Z. Maybe you can play on servers with other random people but I never have and I have 200 or so hours in the game. I've played with friends in the game but no randoms. It very much is more like Minecraft BY FAR AND WIDE than it is like Day Z. You spend most of your time fighting zombies with trash hit-boxes, collecting items around the map, dying when a bear or lumberjack zombie wrecks your face, respawn, repeat, and then do lots of building, repairing, more building, more repairing, more repairing, more repairing, wonky hit-box zombie fight, then more repairing, collecting, repairing, and dying.
