Magic Mushrooms! Top techniques for photographing them | Part 2 | Light Painting & Making Fungi Glow

In the second installment of our magic mushroom series we have ventured down to a local woodland and some beautiful examples of fungi.
Christopher shows how some simple lighting techniques can elevate and change the tone of the image allowing you to make the images you want to. Building on the first video where we used focus stacking we now add light shining through the caps and blended in photoshop to give the popular mystical effect of the mushrooms glowing.
In part 3 next week we will go even further into the whimsical by combining all the techniques plus new AI tools to create a fantastical scene.
