Note: Several people have asked for the pattern link for the scarf shown in the video, the Ingrid Scarf. I have added it here and above in the video notes area. Thanks! Ingrid Scarf (full written pattern): fiberflux.blogspot.com/2013/01/free-crochet-patterningrid-scarf.html
That was absloutely useful to me ,I have knitted a a simple scarf for a baby girl and didn't like the seam at all ,so this mended and concealed eveything I didn't like thanks a million
Jennifer, on the whip stitch are you going through the spaces created by the crochet stitches or just underneath say the top two yarns, regardless of the crochet stitch?
+Emily Johnson Great question I do both...knot it to secure, then weave the ends. Just be sure not to over knot because it will look "lumpy" Hope that helps!
I have a question, when a pattern tells you to repeat rows, for instance. For example it says rows 14-16, repeat rows 2-4, does it mean each row repeat 2-4?

How do I join a scalloped edge with a straight edge as in your golden leaf scarf?
Beautiful scarf!!

if I made a lengthwise scarf that should be infinity, I'd just join and work in the rounds so I would eliminate the need to seam...
How do you finish off the whip stitch seaming in order to keep it secure? Do you tie a knot or weave in ends?

It would be easier to just sew it with a darning needle in the same color!
