XL Power 550 | Futaba CGY 760

Flying the XL 550. This heli is incredibly sharp with the CGY and azure 560s. Hobbywing 120, XLP motor and servos, RTU 96.

The XL Power 550 is a great heli! I've turned mine into a "half Nimbus" by installing the Nimbus boom and tail box, ditching the struts. Looks really sharp but doesn't fly any better than it did with the skinny boom of course.

thats a great idea, im going to try it. hate the look of the struts 😂 i also recommend adding some washers under the rear skid mount screws, so that it raises the tail a bit
