Hi, where is the official website and documentation for this? I have one and wonder if there is a firmware update. Mine does not properly pick up fast charging
I have the same tester with the load modul. There is the function auto enum and trigger fast charge but my problem is for example fast charge trigger PD can be set from 5V to 9V or 20v for example but this is always with 0A of current, the device only checks if the for example USB Power adapter can manage 20V but the auto enum test or fast charge trigger test just use 0A. What if i want to test 20v 1.5A ? Can the internal load modul also 9v or 20v or only 5V? I need to test the USB Power adapter with 20v 1.5A
I have not been able to get down to 4V or less without the device resetting. I have two of these with the electronic loads, so I cannot say how just the CT-3, by itself, works when the port is commanded to lower voltages via PPS request. Maybe it does better as just the CT-3 alone; need to try it I guess. For the money however, these are fabulous USB-C PD/QC/Fast-charge testers. Highly recommend. The PC application software is very nice as well, and lets you log the CC line communications.
@@richardbardin7130 hey, i need to check an USB Power adapter with PD 30W. I can use the auto enum function or fast charge trigger to check if the power adapter accepts 20v for example but this is all the time with 0A current. Is there a way to check devices with lets say 20v 1.5A ? Can the internal modul deliver 9v or 20v as well or only 5v? Im scared of destroying the modul when i use fast charge trigger 20v and activate the load modul with 1.5A current.

@@richardbardin7130 to get power below 4v you need to connect to the pc port or hid port
