The girls took nearly 4 years to make it and in a way I'm kinda glad it was their last final album because it's such a masterpiece. 2NE1 was revolutionary and here’s why: 1) the music: - the synth pop - the beats - the message and concepts they were all ahead of their time and if it was released today it would’ve gotten more appreciation from the public and fans around the world yet they released these types of songs in early 2010’s when everyone was stuck in bubblegum k-pop 2) the outfits: - the fashion choices - the hair styling it screams second gen - there was just so many experimental aspects while keeping it genuine at the same time 3) the mv’s: - the wide frame camera shots - the cgi - production management all their mv’s after 2010/2011 got really cgi based and they started having wide frame shots even before 2017 when it started becoming big. yg sucks ass but yes he still produces the best music videos for his idols. overall 2ne1 was WAY ahead of their time therefore they were revolutionary period
