Did that release bearing clip last? Currently have am doing one myself and same concern with the clip not fitting exact to my liking or the one that had came out
@ 27:47 - Signs that the clutch was not operated properly while driving. When stepping on the clutch pedal, always push it all the way in to minimize slippage & avoid grinding the gears. ***When releasing the clutch, always keep toes pointed & lift the LEG from the HIP till foot is completely off the clutch pedal. This will prevent slamming the discs together while driving.
I used a Harbor Freight 15 ~ 16" Pittsbrught pry bar. Forget about using pickle fork pullers or anything cause none will fit in that tiny space. Passenger side I used the prybar and slapped on the bar neck with a mini slege hammer on the driver side with Pry bay I bumped it about 10 times till it came off. My 2018 had about 2 extra bolts holding the bell housing.
Nonstop with all the tools u have 6 to 8 hours. Jacking and taking the dimple out of both axle nuts took me about 1 and half hours ( few breaks ) had to grind my screwdriver on both sides so i could easily slide it into the notch to hammer out the dimple
Great job.. I really enjoyed watching hopefully more videos soon about how this Mitsubishi holds up ..
