i love how you posted this in passion, and not as a plug for the company. i have the same nostalgic feeling when i play with my lever locks so i really liked this vid! # johnny cade shell puller fans!
Nice one! Muskrat man is a friend of mine and has done many knives for me. He does incredible work and he's still real young with a bright future. Again great knife! -springs
I have the same knife my dad got form Germany when he served there, but there are no markings on it (c12 and c14) but it has a 5 carved on the lever, and I cant find anything online about the no markings or the 5. Please help.
I've been wanting an outsider's tattoo, and I have yet to find the knife that looks exactly like it. I know it's a Hubertus lever lock shell puller or solinger. But the black on Silver handle is fire.
just love that classic german model. it's age just adds coolness value and makes you ponder about it's very own history as well. perhaps it was once owned by a lucky scout kid? :)
Nice find! If you don't mind me asking. What did you pay for it?.. I'm jealous. I've always wanted one also. Ask my dad when I was a kid, he told me that those knives are hard to find and they're too expensive. Instead he bought me an Italian swing guard switchblade. Still have it.
I live in Canada... and at the border they open your package. You can check out my videos on my spring assisted knives. They opened both and taped up the pack again.
i'm in the same boat. always wanted one ever since i saw the outsiders. its not a matter of being able to afford or find one for me, its a matter of getting it. i'm up in canada and the consequences for having a switchblade are just too severe to make it worth the risk.
+luvblenko from what i understand, the law originated in the late 1950s and was brought into place because the govt felt teenagers were being influenced in a negative way. it would be like the govt banning rap music today (i wish they would!). canadian laws for weapons are usually foolish and do not solve any problems other then making people "feel good" because something was changed. the only people they ever effect are law abiding citizens. If switchblades were legalized, i'd probably carry one with me everywhere. there have been so many times where i needed a knife and only had one hand free.
I hear you. But I own and carry spring or tension assisted knives that are just as fast. I also apreciate my hand guns for one handed assistance ;). I did another knife video that I really like to carry. Thanks for watching
+luvblenko i believe all spring loaded knifes are illegal in canada. i recall the law being somewhere around the lines of it cannot be opened with one hand. I have a few knives but I dont usually carry any of them with me. None are overly special. just a few pocket knives that belonged to both my grandparents during their youth.
This knife is from the 70's. You can buy modern reproductions from companies like AKC Italy or Hubertus. Sometimes pop up on bladehq.com, pvk.vegas, 3knives.com, sharperdeals.net, etc.
For real im a big knife collector and thats always been a must have and other than the outsiders this is the only 1 ive seen.Absolutely beautiful.

Tengo una Similar, es una belleza, aunque no esta restaurada y si lo necesita.
they should make a spring assisted knife with this design. Switchblade are illegal where I live so I want this style, just spring assisted.
you can still order one just don't walk around with one, or get caught that's what i do
I live in Canada... and at the border they open your package. You can check out my videos on my spring assisted knives. They opened both and taped up the pack again.
+jojorobino5312 You can order kit switchblades. They ship them in parts so the borders can't stop you from getting a handle.
+Jeffrey Langston Im not to good at assembling knives though.
+jojorobino5312 There's not much info on youtube, but it's always an option.

undestandable and yet I'm amazed how silly the law is. I don't think it's any different than any other knife. in my opinion
+luvblenko from what i understand, the law originated in the late 1950s and was brought into place because the govt felt teenagers were being influenced in a negative way. it would be like the govt banning rap music today (i wish they would!).

Our governor made automatic knives legal for carry in our state. It's the one good thing our governor has done.
I kinda thought that Johnny Cade's was an otf... guess I'm not observant. :P
Way cool!
How much was on eBay
@@charliecharliecharliecharl8554 I think it was 99$
@luvblenko very cool definitely not legal in uk though not anything locking flick or over 3 inch pen knifes ok

This knife is from the 70's. You can buy modern reproductions from companies like AKC Italy or Hubertus. Sometimes pop up on bladehq.com, pvk.vegas, 3knives.com, sharperdeals.net, etc.
