Kenny. Didn’t know until Sunday that Rusty designed that track. He must have been very proud of the racing. I want to give a shout out to Rusty. What an ambassador to the sport. In 79 or 80 I met(sort of) Rusty at Iliana Speedway being only 13. Too shy to say hi but stood about 10 feet from him and his car. He stayed long after the race talking to fans. Impressed me then and still does now. Your parents must be so proud. We need to support all local tracks. The younger kids need to see these stars up front. Not sure if you can walk the pits after the race but we did back then. Keep winning at those short tracks. There may be some 13 year old that meets you and becomes a die hard fan.
They need to do a complete repave now so it can sit till next year. But pretty good racing for a repave. We need more tracks like this. Rockingham was one of my favorites, I still have hope it might come back.
Classic nascar race. A few cars that are clearly better and they can cut through the field. Other cars getting better as the race goes on and the light leaves and two lanes, Damn good broadcasting. Right on the money.
Blaney is awesome. So happy for him. I cheered for his dad Dave. I did enjoy the race. I’d say in the top 3 of this year. Very solid.
