@gameover9390 Open it, get to that fan, and dust it with an air blower, clean it out with cotton swabs, alcohol, brush. Whatever. If it's a jet engine, it's caked up with dust, even when you least expect it. So, all of that will make a major difference. I had a blessing in disguise where it dropped and cracked and made it easy for the cover to come off, so mine was easy, but you'll probably have to look up how to open it and get to the fan. Also, it's not like I had to completely disassemble the fan. I just cleaned where I could see the blades.

bruh just replace the thermal paste my guy! the stock thermal paste is dog doo doo.. the shit cost around 10-20$ at most on amazon for the highest grade thermal grease. As soon as you do that the fans wont kick up as loud cuz the ps4 isnt getting hot.
it aint that hard of a fix theres tons of tutorials, also if you want the best performance i would "wet sand"the bottom of the ps4s heat sink with high grit sand paper so that there is better surface contact with the CPU and GPU.

I get horrible connection wired and through wifi. Worst console I’ve ever owned. Even a launch ps4 could run better than this pos.
@@rollblackandgold I can't say much about the wifi chip / antenna because i never had a problem with my ps4 (then again mine was a launch ps4) but, my ps4 also did start up the jet noise a few months after replacing thermal paste, however if thats the case, check the power supply / it's connection make sure no dirt / dust or anything is in it cause it might be shorting the amount of voltage going towards the fans / gpu. if that doesn't work, i believe in ps4 pros on the motherboard there's a battery, try replacing that, it could be that battery is dying and causing problems which is also not sending enough power towards the fans. Though, first thing you want to do before trying those other things is, clean the vents & fans reaaally well (dunno why i put this at the bottom but eh)
Just in the process of completely disassembling my ps4 slim because not only it sounds like a jet when under moderate load, but tends to shut down due "ps too hot" error too. Hope a good thorough clean and new thermal paste will do. If not, it's going to the trash and I'm never buying one again.
You need to take it all the way apart, then pull the fan and fan shroud off clean fan blades and also clean the heatsink, dust likes to pile up inside the heatsink and between it and the fan, and you can see it until you pull the shroud off.
But what happens when you buy a brand new Pro and it’s loud as hell straight out the box? That happened to me and got it replaced and the replacement console was also loud as shit. It’s just crap design.

My mate's fan got to the point where it wasn't even spinning it was that bad. It's actually amazing how clean the environment can be yet the PS4 still manages to get clogged.
NMS does put the CPU mostly, under an extremely heavy load so if the PS4 can't cool itself (due to dust, etc) then that'd be one of the games it'd overheat
