I was definitely not expecting this to be as super good as it was. The storytelling and writing for it was phenomenal as well as the voice acting. It's making me really want to see how part 2 will be play out.
The Rebellion actually would have suited him because of the hit and run tactics. The Empire would have been in serious trouble with Thrawn on the side of the Rebellion.

I saw many what if star wars vids but everytime thrawn is in it, it gets better. The fact this all about him and made a satisfying way where thrawn finally achieved to do something big without plot armor blocking him is so satisfying I also wonder how it would look if CIS would get his attention first
You do what most what if channels don't actually have a good voice actors for the characters there was a single second in there that Thrawn was talking that I didn't think it was Thrawn. That just goes to show how well the writing and the voice worked together. (please make a part two)

That was amazing seeing the real Thrawn, not the nerfed Rebels Thrawn (although it's a show aimed for a younger audience, so I get why he was nerfed.). He didn't need to be nerfed for the TV-14 Ahsoka show, there's no excuse why Thrawn would be not as smart as he should. Or at least showing how smart he should be. It's really frustrating. Also, you show that Thrawn is not an evil being. He just wants to find the best way to protect his kind, not galactic domination. If he can achieve his goal with the Republic, he'll do it. If he needs the Empire as a necessary evil to protect his kind, that's the road he'll take. That's what makes his character interesting. Thank you for this video, I'm gonna immediately watch Part 2.
