After installing, go to terminal and type ./iOS5LockInfo.sh..
This tutorial will show you how to get the the iOS 5 like notification center on any iDevice. This can run on iPhone 2G and 3G and iPod 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen.

omfg thanks i have been trying for like 3 weeks to get a notification center compatable with my i pod and finally i got one
@TheIsaiah47 The weather was supposed to be included by default. Many people are experiencing the same problem.For the fix :
1> uninstall this package
2> download and install the weather plugin for LockInfo via cydia.
3> respring
4> uninstall the weather plugin
5> and now reinstall the package from my source.
will fix the glitch in a day or so.
jumping to another step without uninstalling will give the error that the file exists in some other package.
@alicool71 i would suggest you perform a restore and try again, because this might be a conflict with some other package or their remains after their un-instillation.
@Bettooh It does work on 3.1.3. Tried. Please elaborate your problem, ans allow us to help you.
Worked great except my info shade theme wont stay at ios4 info shade theme? can you figure out why? it keeps returning to use default theme?
@dthmate219 May be they have updated LockInfo and the current version supports only iOS4, id suggest you get an older version. just google for the .deb file.
@srimp44 It will have it as named "InfoShade". If it doesnt have that too, try reinstalling the LockInfo.
check your push notifications or you might need to buy or download plugins for that
@alicool71 i beleive there is conflict with dome other package. To fix your problem ill need all your other installed packages. i would suggest, if you really need this, go through a restore and retry.
You can do this with lockinfo. Just have to change the textured background...
im on iphone 3gs, i got the slider but not the exact one.. but its good tho.. thanks dude.. my main concern is im not able to get push notifications for any of my apps.. i get notifications for about 10minutes on whatsapp and later it stops,. help me out guys :)
When i go to activator and then select the anywhere button and the slide in gesture in doesnt have the lockinfo options at the top.... please help?
it doesn't really matter. It is just the background. you don't need to have the file from the source for it to work. only if you want ios 5 NC background.
@Oirammario12345 but iPhone does support iOS5 which has the original Notification Center. If you still dont want to update and want this trick, i will surely make it as soon as i get my hands on a jailbroken iPad 1, or the iPad 2 is jailbroken.

@MrManjotB That seems like some other jailbreak app is interfering with that.
@iRunThisSchmidt If you unjailbreak your iPod, it will go through a restore process, which deletes all data on the device incl. this app.

yea i have iphone 2g 3.1.3 and i installed lockinfo and its not working properly its in setting but not on homescreen or lockscreen its doesnt work pls help

i can get it on ipad. but will not be able to try it, as i do not have an ipad running 4.3.3 or an ipad 1. I have two ipads both on 5.0 which isnt jailbroken.

when ever i select ios5 lockscreen theme for lockscreen, or when i select infoshade theme for infoshade, how come it goes back to classic right after i back out or go to home screen?
the application Lockinfo doesnt show up...the first app that comes up is the second one on yur screen....what can i do??

When I pull down the notification center it goes down so fast. How can I slow it down? Please help.
Oh and one more thing, in video when u install lockinfo, and pull down on the status bar... all u see is a shaded screen.. when i pull it down right after installing, it has tabs for notifications, weather, mail.. is that suppose to happen or a cydia app interfering with it?
not only that it didn't work, but it disabled my power button. i removed it and i can use my power button again but i didn't solve my real problem which is the notifications. help?
go into Cydia, then into Manage, then package and finally find the tweak you downloaded. Then u have to Click on it and on the upper right corner, theirs Modify. Click on it, Then, it should appear Reinstall or Remove. Click on remove and wait until its done. :P

dude even i have iPhone 3G iOS 4.2 but in the SB settings, the available memory/ram is just 32MB even after closing all the apps!!!! but when i saw yours it was 55MB. what iOS are you on?
