Thank you for this video. Not all of us domestic sewers can afford the machine or space an industrial machine requires. I have 3 machines and set each one up as I need them. My kitchen island doubles as my cutting table. So I appreciate this video because I bought a B590 during Covid and love it. So glad to hear that it can continue to grow with me as I expand my sewing skills to encompass bag making.
Your exactly right. Some of us who would prefer an industrial, just don't have the space. But, your excitement about this machine, has gotten me excited. Appreciate this video
Awesome video! Gonna be a new subscriber, can’t wait to watch more of these. I am a Bernina brand consumer, have a B590 combo, a B700 embroidery and a Commercial 16-Needle Melco embroidery machine. I bought this Bernette B08 back in Oct for my BDay, (1st 1 my dealer sold) and finally getting ready to start my bag making. Your video presentation is so clear and concise. You even reminded me to check on my back order of the kit. Hoping to setup this weekend…running to check your video library now😀🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️💪🏻💯
Thank you for sharing! I have several machines, including an industrial one (AKA The Beast). Your Bernette looks very nice🤩, probably a good thing I am running out of space😄, I know many excellent quilters who swear by the Bernina Brand. I own a Juki TL2010 and LOVE IT! I use it for 90% of my bag-making, but when the seams get thick nothing beats the Beast. But I also know it isn't always doable due to size or cost-effectiveness for their use. Best of Luck with your new sewbuddy!
Thank you so much for this Chris, it’s so helpful. While an industrial machine isn’t within my budget (or my space) at the moment, I’m really happy with my straight stitch semi-industrial Elnita EF1, which is identical to the Janome 1600P. I'm looking forward to watching you use your new Bernette.
Juki was not at the show and I have no Juki dealer around me so no, not yet. Hopefully I can soon. From what I can tell they have 4 different straight line machines that are similar and will work just as well.
In the past I have used and sold Bernina, Janome, and many other makes. My favourite is a Singer 201 vintage machine. Please put one through your testing.
I have not had the opportunity to try any Juki products. There are several that are semi industrial that I think will do well though. This is one of them as well as the TL18.
I have an industrial machine that i use Tex 70 threads on. Can this Bernette 08 handle threads of that size? I would hate to have to buy all new thread if i purchase the 08.
I'm sorry to hear you've had a bad experience on domestic machines. As I mentioned, I tested a lot of different ones to find what works best. In fact, we have a livestream tonight to talk about sewing leather and vinyl on domestic machines - tune in at 7 eastern if you'd like to learn more!

I love my Janome HD9. 🌸
I can’t wait to see you use this machine, I have a Bernette embroidery & Sewing machine and love it. Looking forward to a video on this one.
I will be posting one next week!

Thanks!
Thank you, I’m looking forward to watching this machine work! I have a Juki TL2010Q and I love it! Also a Tex sew but to afraid of it!
I have the roller foot for my HD9. Would love to see that on a video with this machine to learn how to use mine.
I will be sure to do that!
@@simplyclassic Thank you!
of many videos on the threading…this is the best…close up visibility with the vocal step by step….
Nice machine. Similar to a Juki 2000 series, which I use for bag making.
I’m just saying the Juki TLQ18 has each of those features, did you try out that line?
Juki was not at the show and I have no Juki dealer around me so no, not yet. Hopefully I can soon. From what I can tell they have 4 different straight line machines that are similar and will work just as well.
I just purchased the bernette 08 last week

Have you tested the Juki TL2010q with your products?

I would definitely recommend Tex 45 with the Bernette. Tex 70 will be too thick.
Your volume is very low. If I turn you up the commercials blast my ears
Thank you for letting me know! I will make sure to boost the volume for the next video.
Using a domestic machine on heavier fabrics is stupid
