@@BrixFitness yeah I'm doing the David goggins challenge so wake up at 5:00a.m take a cold shower bike for hour and a half rest at 12:00p.m run for 30 minutes rest at 3:30p.m bike for another hour and a half rest then at 6:00p.m bench the 45 lb bar 250 times you can't put the bar down just hold it up for resting position then eat 12oz of chicken breast 2/4 cup rice 1 cup broccoli and that's all I can eat all day us that one meal so my window is 3:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m oh yeah I also have a protein shake with dinner so 920 calories for all day so I'm in a 3000 calorie deficit
I think you and I came from different situations. I've been on a weight loss journey since early April. I'm down 60 lbs. Not a lot of exercise. I'm not stressing for veggies or fiber. I'm low carb. And I'm almost never hungry. Low carb is the answer. I'm happy to get into why, but it's the only sustainable long term solution. Losing weight on a high carb diet is possible but it requires so much activity to achieve and then maintain that I do not believe it's sustainable in the long term and that's why the overwhelming majority of people regain the weight they lose. Here's where you and I differ. I believe in getting in a high degree of nutrients per calorie. Carbs, including fiber, don't serve that purpose. There are zero essential carbohydrates. What I did was get my nutrition right while eating substantially less energy (carbs). What this did was fix my anxiety, and fix my depression. It fixed the things you said weight loss wouldn't fix. I believe that the food you eat matters greatly and since this is also how one moves the needle on weight loss, why shouldn't we expect our mind frame to change the same as our bodies do? Are you familiar with the energy sources the brain prefers? You can't fuel the brain properly with a high carb diet. When your brain is under-fueled, what do you suppose happens? Anxiety and depression? Ding, ding, ding. My advice to your advice is that you would do well to know the specific biological triggers that cause a person to gain or lose weight. Fortunately, there are people way smarter than me who have put that content on TH-cam. It's not. I don't eat low carb. I eat ALL the carbs. I exercise. I lost 140lbs. There are many. many ways to lose weight. Maintaining weight loss is about embracing all of the concepts in this video. I love that I eat chocolate every day and can maintain my ideal weight
