I love the moment between Lucifer and God so much because back in season 2 when Lucifer met God Johnson, his "Dad" told him he was proud of the man he'd become, then when Lucifer found out that wasn't actually him, Lucifer said he was furious cuz he knew his Father would never say those words to him. Guess he was wrong 😭❤
Fun fact: this episode was written by Chris rafferty who also wrote “a priest walk into a bar” in season 1. In that episode I believe father frank’s last words are to lucifer “your father… he has a plan” (something like that) in this episode chris rafferty made a call back to that when God’s last words are “ it’s all part of my plan”
I'm really curious to see their reaction and thoughts on the next episode. Honestly, it hit me harder than I expected when I first watched it. I think I cried more during that ep than any other.
This episode is just a dream come true all the seasons all the episodes the relationship between Lucifer and his father has always entered my heart hard even if we have not seen God yet Lucifer always said how much he hates his father and how much his father does not appreciate him and he was right God is a bad father and in this episode he says to Lucifer "I love you son .... and very proud of the man you became" the shivers and cries I had at that moment it was a feeling Amazing! We've finally solved Lucifer's father complex And as for Amendial who was terribly disappointed that he did not have time to say goodbye to his mother in season 2 he finally got this opportunity to say goodbye to her
This was my favorite episode of 5b with episode 10 🥺🥺✨ loved seeing momma decker and god telling lucifer all the things lucifer wanted him to say😭 i cried lovee that last deckerstar scene💗
C'mon guys, HandJobAdiel, I can't believe you didn't catch that... You still have a chance in episode 609 though with another invented angel name, same writer...
Holy shit, I totally missed the second one myself (I did a bit of googling after reading your mysterious comment). To be fair, I more than likely caught Handjobadiel because it was very distinctly translated in my native subtitles.
When I first watched this episode I cried at the end scene with Lucifer and his Father and it still makes me tear up. My father passed away 3 years ago when I was 16. I realised I will never be able to hear those things that God said to Lucifer. That he was proud of the man he has become and that he loved him. One of my favourite episodes in the series. I love watching the reactions and I can't wait for the rest of them to come out.
It's funny how they usually do not have bad script for any therapy sessions with Linda, but now they're really trying to present Ella's thoughts as something "dark". It's literally normal 🤦♀️ I mean, it could signify a few disorders, but nothing "dark" or even mildly bad.
I don't think that was the point tbh. It's not that there's anything wrong will Ella's thoughts, especially considering her line of work, I just think she's having a hard time reconciling her religion and morals with those thoughts. Like, again, they're not /bad/ thoughts, but because of her beliefs she feels like they are, maybe she feels like it's disrespectful, or morbid. Who knows really. It's less about the thoughts themselves and more about how she feels, she's been through a lot and it's making her reevaluate her choices and how she sees the world. The fact that she dated a serial killer and didn't know, coupled with her attraction to bad boys makes her feel like she's the problem, which is very common in people who experience multiple toxic relationships. But anyways, I'm not a psychologist and this is really just my opinion. For all I know you could be completely right and that could be what the directors intended to portray.
That backward rationalization only works if you purchased the meat, and someone actually knows that you liked it enough to buy it again. Besides, the scenario the crew was talking about didn't specify that a human had provided the meat. "Already dead" doesn't mean that a human killed it... Maybe the Bengal tiger at the zoo got into the panda enclosure and voilà, suppertime! ;-]
@@robertcartier5088 Nobody gives a f if the consumer actually liked the product. Purchasing is everything that's neccessary to raise the demand. It's not like every store ever (or any at all for that matter) gives out polls on every single product they sell

25:14, I thought you could bring back anything you hunted to your camp cook and he would take it to cook for the group every time in RD2? Not just the first time? I haven’t played it myself, but I’ve watched others play it and I could swear that I’ve seen them take back everything they hunted to the camp cook… 🤔

Also the reason was because unlike the others the only two who actually questioned their fathers love and didn’t blindly follow him anymore was Lucifer and amendial
I love that when God tells Lucifer he's proud of him and loves him, Lucifer can't help thinking that Amenadiel would like to hear it too ❤️

“Oh no, who killed the FISH?!” - Eric having a Mass Effect flashback
The scene with Ella and God was really sweet
What scene 😡
@@001100AAAEA yea like wtf i wanted to see that

I can't believe they didn't catch onto the name Hanjobodiel 🤣
Oh jeez, next episode is going to be a hoot. Im going to go cry in a corner now
pssst
Before he threw the blade through the cosmic vagina he took Amenadiel’s necklace back so it’s not complete yet. It’s still Azrael’s blade though.
And the medallion of life
Yeah. It's Azrael's Blade with the Medallion of Life still connected to its hilt. Now all Michael needs is the third and final piece.
@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain he doesn't need it for killing angels tho. Azrael’s blade is all that is needed for that.

I like how they just know that the Angels aren't going to be okay with this and that there's going to be a war 13:15
I'm nervous about the next episode and how they might react to it
If they're sad I'll be sad too again
i thought it was one but now I'm sad again
17:36 The fact that none of them caught that Hanjobadiel was just a Hand-job joke was really funny to me
Same!
Its killing me they needed captions
Wait it was!?!?
Could you explain the joke? I don't get why he would be "the most handsome"
It's not that deep, it's just "pretty angel named after sex thing haha"
I will take any excuse at all to see more Tricia Helfer.
Honestly, I don't think Maze gets as much pleasure from the torturing as they think she does.

Excited to see there reaction to next episode and loved this one
This episode made me cry...more than the next one did!
I Hope everyone is prepared for the next episode
Never.
this is always broken me
oh it's THAT episode.. well shit
I dont think anyone will ever be prepared for that.
Juvenile as it is, I cracked up WAY too hard at "God can juice her up!"
right up my alley, dark or immature or just straight up bad jokes cracks me up way harder than they should🤣
The book of Daniel! Ah man, I wish that was a plot point, that's really good
i was hoping the reaction to the siblings would have been more. but good reaction as always
I remember thinking this when I first saw the episode, but particularly with the way Aaron says it it really does sound like HandjObadiel

Love that they make us think Michael somehow managed to trick an all knowing being but in reality it was just all part of Gods plan.

Looking forward to next episode. It's gonna hit them like a ton of fucking bricks.
So many things I will have to say about next week's episode
Great reaction. Actually when something is already dead and you eat it, then you kinda participate in raising a demand for that, so it's still bad.
That backward rationalization only works if you purchased the meat, and someone actually knows that you liked it enough to buy it again. Besides, the scenario the crew was talking about didn't specify that a human had provided the meat.

Has Eric already seen all the show!?!?
Very emotional moments in this episode especially between God&Ella;
God& Lucifer 💜
25:52, I swear he has watched the whole show ahead of time and is keeping it from the rest of them! He predicts damn near every single ending! 😭😭😭
Break down the name HAND JOB adiel.

If I know the food was gonna be the best ever I would never eat it. What if it’s so good that everything else tastes bad.

One thing I didnt like about this episode is that God, their father, only said goodbye to two of his children. Like how about the other siblings?? : D
