I personally prefer the pleasant company videos by you because I learn so much as I build my own collection. Also, there aren't many new videos consistently about pleasant company dolls or the collection anyway. It's mostly posts about a current doll that's out. This video was great. Thanks for sharing your collection. Please keep sharing 😊
Felicity was my childhood favorite, I have been eagerly waiting for her to become the object of your obsession!! I live my doll dreams vicariously through you. Thank you for another entertaining and detailed video, I really appreciate how thorough your knowledge is!
Yes! Please do more felicity collection videos! I’ve been waiting for a pleasant company felicity collection for ages! She was my first doll back in 2010 right as she was retiring and has always been my favorite!
I love these long form videos! It’s nice to put them on while I do chores. I watched the whole thing, and it was equally informative and relaxing!! I am so sorry your Santa wasn’t supportive of your interests, and I hope it’s super healing to your inner child doing these things for yourself now 💕
Oops I commented a little bit too early, but I would love to see videos for all of your different collections! Now I’m suddenly curious when they started making left handed desks
That was a beautiful book set, I so noticed. Children of today don’t read as much. It is a pity to never know the touch & feel of a beautiful book. Not to mention being immersed in the story, like T.V., but with more details.
Yes! I had ONE Samantha book as a kid... I now have tons of books and seven dolls... Felicity, Samantha, Maryellen, Kit, Rebecca, Caroline, and GOTY Lea. I concentrate more on getting their collections then adding more dolls.
I really struggle to accept my rosacea cheeks, it's nice to know that there are people out there who think of them as something cute. Wasn't expecting an esteem boost from a doll video 😊
My Felicity has the darker hair but I love the redder better. I believe that Pleasant Rowland had visited Colonial Williamsburg and that sparked the idea for Felicity. Summer dress: the cardboard piece had the belt wrapped around it. Fray Check for the satin ribbon, but be careful it may stain but better than fraying more I think. Christmas dress: look under the arm pits that usually sometimes tells you if the dress faded. It is a salt shaker. after writing in ink it was sprinkled on to help make it dry faster. The high quality felt is a synthetic and wool blend. Yes I watched the whole video, love when you do the original PC content. Love to see your Josephina and Addy's collections. Thanks for sharing.
We out here calling out Santa for being homophobic 😭😂 but seriously this entire set was so amazing to look through, you really scored with this one. I love the older dolls little house on the prairie vibes tho so i may be biased because of the outfits and aesthetic of her time.
Hi Jonathan, I just watched your whole Felicity video right to the end. It was wonderful to see you talk about her collection in detail….especially since I just scored my own Felicity haul today. I am in Canada and it’s rare to come across this kind of stuff here but on Facebook marketplace a local seller was selling her daughter in laws childhood collection. Yippee! It had a doll, writing desk, clothes press, canopy bed and night stand! Also accessories and many outfits. I feel so lucky. Thank you for sharing your amazing collections with us. It is always a learning experience as well as childhood pleasure to join you when you play dolls. Great video. ☺️😄👍💕
What a beautiful collection! For Felicity's hat from her summer outfit, there's a product called Fray Check you could apply to the ribbon ends so they don't fray any more than they have already.
Felicity's red school skirt: I would call that a brocade fabric. I loved this video so much! I had already "committed" to collecting Samantha in the late 80s as a child, so Felicity never got further than the catalog pages for me. She became my adult collection goals. I am blown away by the quality and authenticity of her collection. It was definitely not made for young children!
WOW her writing desk is phenomenal Also idk how a kid kept all that stuff so nice and in amazing condition I still lose doll shoes and snag things as an adult 😅
I absolutely loved this video. Oh it was so good to see all of this collection. Such beauties. I would be interested in seeing all of your Felicity collections, not just this one, as well as what you might be selling. The travel trunk was good to see, and then the writing deskchair, as you never know where you might find this, as sometimes I have found wooden PC/AG items in non toy sections. I have a "second" edition PC Felicity with her dress and the actual rubberband in hair, that thankfully broke without melting) and I love her. I do have bits and pieces of her PC clothing that came in a large mixed lot. I also rescued an AG Elizabeth with destroyed (in couldn't be restored) hair in her pink AG dress. I rewigged her in as close a hair color as possible.
Wow, beautiful collection, I am surprised someone would part with such an exquisite collection. You are most fortunate lucky ducky. I hope the original owner is ok, but I suppose some people outgrow their collection & don’t pass it down. You can really see the difference between Pleasant Company & AG today. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is meticulous with the PC collection. They must have had quite the pretty penny to acquire such a collection. I am quite happy to finally have a Felicity. Got her from the thrift, she is in a red AG bikini, lol! I got a very beautiful Elizabeth too, in some casual 80’s-90’s outfit. I would love to someday display them in a historical outfit. Your ideas for Christmas & the cape are fabulous, would love to see it.
Love it! I got my Felicity in 91, she was my fav! Just as info the underwear was super historical! There are the hip extensions, which also served as additional pockets(instead of purses lol) also her tie on pocket, which were hand embroidered often as practice for young ladies. Felicitys clothes are all designed around the underwear. The dresses are cut to be worn with the hip extensions so the hem falls correctly, also the skirts have the special Velcro on sides because it leave a slit so she can access her tie on pocket that she wear underneath. Also corsets were not tightlaced for children or even adults. Corsets were really just like bras and posture support. Only meant to fit snug but not tight. Her clothes look so much better when you put her underwear on first! Really shows them to their full potential! (Oh and the little metal school thing is a sander, you shook sand on your writing to absorb excess ink:) )
I'm lucky to still have the undergarments from when I was a kid because they are expensive on the secondhand market! They really elevate her dresses, I never take them off her.
Felicity and Samantha have the most aesthetically pleasing collections IMO. I got my Felicity from my grandmother in 1997 and I saved up to buy her bed and side table in 1999 (I was already 14/15 at the time, but I still loved my Kirsten and Felicity dolls) and I can confirm the bed is HUGE. I also had her table and chairs, but as an adult with not much storage and only the table without the dishes to put on it, I decided to sell it. I will never sell the bed and side table, though. Felicity's birthday outfit is one of my absolute favorites. The paper board in the summer outfit was probably for her ribbon sash. The brocade slippers are ridiculously hard to get on and tie!! Back in the day, those dolls were called fashion/Pandora dolls because they were made to show miniature dresses so you could see different popular and stylish dresses and decide if you'd want them made for yourself. Dressmakers would display them. That's why the doll dress matched her dress. I keep editing this LOL - I really enjoy the history of fashion dolls, collecting them would be so fun, but those are the $$$$ dolls!
❤❤❤So happy for you. I'm still looking for my dream doll which is the AA Cricket Doll. She had tapes, story books, the iconic sweater...just amazing back in the day. So amazing that you found this Felicity, she is stunning 😊
Yessss! I love these old pleasant company videos. I could watch them all day. You are, however, very bad for my budget. I saw several things that I have to get from this collection. I’m so excited to begin the hunt!
This is so on time for me! I bought my very first PC doll 10/16/23 and she was Felicity!!!!! So I’m looking to celebrate by adding to my Felicity collection which I’ve kind of done nothing with, because I met Molly and Addy right after. So I’m excited to get some great ideas!!!!! Thank you!!!!
I love the work gown so much. Kirsten had one as well. Those girls had to work back then. And doing laundry was to be kept to a minimum because it was so labour intensive.
The mini me sitting on Courtney's bunk in a pumpkin suit with a little Molly doll is really warming my heart ❤️ and threatening my wallet with another CYO idea...
Those are Felicity Pocket hoops Johnny is what you said were shoulder pads. You had pocket hoops to use as pockets that were used to go with Felicity dresses
Regarding Felicitys undergarments. The girdle is called stays during her time period. They were precursors to corsets. The item before the stays was indeed a pocket. Historical clothing didn't have pockets, pockets would be a separate garment that was tied on underneath the dress with slits to access the pockets.
Do you consider Josefina, kit and Kaya as pleasant company dolls? Because I Do I see them as the original 8 historical dolls from 2002. I want to see Josefina,Kit and Kaya videos from you.
When Felicity was released did she have all her 6 book's with all of her collection released in 1991. Cause I know that Kirsten molly and Samantha had their 3 books and collection from the first 3 books and later on released 4-6 books and collection?
My Felicity came in the purple meet dress which I think originally called her traveling outfit. But some say that her and then the Beforever Felicity are not good looking. Some say her bright green eyes scar them too like they make her look crazy or something
Pleasant got the idea for American Girl collection while visiting Williamsburg and she wrote to Valorie Tripp on a post card telling her idea for the doll company. Which her idea to release Felicity and àddy and kit First into the line starting up but went with Kirste Molly and Samantha
I'm curious if you wash your vintage clothes when you get them. I have vintage Kirsten and Samantha from when I was a kid (~1991 vintage), I mostly got homemade clothes, very few original pleasant company clothes, and I just decided to get a Molly and a few dresses I always wanted. I washed them carefully by hand because super old clothes really gross me out (even though they've obviously only been worn by dolls)
Felicity is my girl (shhhh... don't tell my other six dolls), but I love her era of history because I love the Culper Ring... and I love they put in real historical events to Lissie's books (the armory incident). I just adore her!
Pleasant Roland got the idea for the American Girl when she visited Williams berg and wrote to valorie Tripp on post card telling her the idea for the dolls and the books because of that we have American Girl and so Felicity was always the favorite doll that pleasant Roland ever made.
The cake is a queen cake, the tea catty is missing the metal for clasp on the front. The tea cup doesn’t have a handle because it is an authentic way Chinese cups were made.
I looked at shop very quickly and I saw Addy's original meet dress and then I went onto eBay and I saw 1993 and 2008 Addy dolls and their very reasonable prices right now like a little bit more plush shopping but your getting an older doll for around the same price of a Rerelease Addy.
I've gotten doubles of assccories for my dolls before like id get one with my doll from Santa and then Id get the same assccories from Grandma not realizing it. But I didn't mind because you can never have too many assccories for my dolls
For me Im just happy to finally have Molly's Kirsten Addy, joesafina birthday dresses for the first time ever and I got the Rerelease one's and I'm so happy I finally have them I've always wanted their birthday dresses since I was a little girl but manly focus on just the doll and Maybe just one or 2 outfits from the doll's collection
I think of AG ever brought Felicity back with her birthday dress I think they'd use snaps similar to the ones used in her Christmas dress stomachers or something cause having actual Pins would not be allowed to be sold now in 2024
I am curious to how much you spent on the bundle? No problem if you don’t want to share I just would love to get an idea about how much is a fair deal.
I love the original doll stands the wooden circle base. Cause I don't like the newer white square base I don't know why I just don't. Even when I found AG and got my first doll in the Early 2000s the doll stands are the same from the ones you showed in this video
I'd love to See your joesafina and Addy lots haul. I just have Beforever Addy, assccories and her Rerelease birthday dress and I'm on the hunt for her original pink meet dress. Then I have original joesafina and her Rerelease birthday dress too so I'm a sucker for anything pleasant company and I could watch these videos all day.
I am (perhaps foolishly) hoping that in 2026, The USA's 250th birthday, Felicity returns. I mean come on, bring back the girl who was there at the beginning of it all.
I have Elizabeth and Felicity along with All the rest of the Best friend historical dolls, I think my favorite best friend deo is Samantha and Nellie their technically sister's because Samantha uncle and aunt adopted Nellie her little sister's Bridget and Jenny and Samantha. So their sisters more better then best friends.
Johnny you don't want to look at my doll boxes for their clothes I put Isabelle meet outfit in one of kits Rerelease outfit boxes and then I put the outfit I had on molly which was Beforever Julie pants and Nicki Fleming ranch long and a girl of the year
I think AG is trying to erase Felicity out because her family had owned slaves. With her grandfather owning a plantation and her family visiting their every summer. So I can see her as canceled permanently which is very disappointing because she's one of my favorites I mean That's how it was in 1770s. Then Pleasant Released Addy in 1993 2 year's after Felicity and she was an escaped slave and her Story and collection is very amazing and first with an advisory board
I find it frustrating that you don't have the slightest interest on the items from a historical perspective. The embroidered pocket was to go around jer waist UNDER her dress, and her dress has slits on the sides so she can put reach in and put things in her pocket. The "Salt" shaker was called a sander and after having wrotten with ink, one would sprinkle sand to absorb the extra ink. The Bit was an 1/8 of a dollar. They were solid silver and ot was instead of smaller currency coins. There was obviously a lid on the ink pot so it wouldn't dry out. The little notebook had binding of handmade coloured paper. Quote a nifty process. Felicity was from the colonial era, well over one hundred years earlier than Downton Abbey's beginning. Very different underthings in the two eras. Anyways, read the cards, Jonny. 😂😂😂 I would be interested in getting your "reject" set of her writing set.
Kudos for making me wish I had a Felicity doll. I feel like she is typically one of the ugliest dolls on the market, but, like you said, this one is different.
I am curious to how much you spent on the bundle? No problem if you don’t want to share I just would love to get an idea about how much is a fair deal.
I would love to see the rest of Felicity's collection. I would love to see all your older collection. I learn so much.
Yes!
I am hoping for a Felicity rerelease in 2026 for United States 250th birthday.
The way I burst out laughing when you said "she's ready to play Korn songs." You're a gem.
Yes! A Felicity collection video would be awesome :) Happy I stayed for the whole video 😊
I personally prefer the pleasant company videos by you because I learn so much as I build my own collection. Also, there aren't many new videos consistently about pleasant company dolls or the collection anyway. It's mostly posts about a current doll that's out. This video was great. we love some Pleasant Company , right 👍🥰💯

I like having your longer videos on while I dress dolls!
I love these long form videos! It’s nice to put them on while I do chores. I watched the whole thing, and it was equally informative and relaxing!!
I am so sorry your Santa wasn’t supportive of your interests, and I hope it’s super healing to your inner child doing these things for yourself now 💕

For those of us who couldnt afford the dolls, the books were everything ❤

@Danny-gp6jn My daughter is 8 and her preferred chapter books have been the AG historical girls actuallya!!!
I am so excited for the Addy collection reveal!
I really struggle to accept my rosacea cheeks, it's nice to know that there are people out there who think of them as something cute. Wasn't expecting an esteem boost from a doll video 😊
same!
i think it's super duper cuteeeeee
This is the first felicity I’ve seen that doesn’t freak me out!
Saaame.
Thank you for keeping me company while I sort through a mountain of my kids' clothes!
My Felicity has the darker hair but I love the redder better.

i love your videos and they're helping me keep distracted during a break up thank you
Congrats!! Omg I am so jealous! I think I *may* start scouting and looking for Felicity pieces now lol
“Integral? Idc “ 😂😂😂💕💕💕
"I don't know... I feel like you're asleep now -- I'm gonna try not to make any loud noises" LOL 💖💖💖💖
Yessss! I love these old pleasant company videos. I could watch them all day. You are, however, very bad for my budget. I saw several things that I have to get from this collection. I’m so excited to begin the hunt!
Felicity is my favorite doll! Please make a video about your full Felicity collection!!!

Love this video. Thanks for sharing the unboxing. I learned a lot from this video about collecting.

That's so cool with Felicity name original to be Elizabeth. I herd podcast talking about Felicity in how pleasant company came up Felicity.
When Felicity was released did she have all her 6 book's with all of her collection released in 1991. Cause I know that Kirsten molly and Samantha had their 3 books and collection from the first 3 books and later on released 4-6 books and collection?
My childhood Felicity is from 2005 with her purple meet dress and I have Elizabeth too they were my 4th and 5th dolls and My Felicity is beautiful
Yes Please, more Felicity.
My Felicity came in the purple meet dress which I think originally called her traveling outfit. But some say that her and then the Beforever Felicity are not good looking. Some say her bright green eyes scar them too like they make her look crazy or something
Felicity is my favorite with the most beautiful accurate 18th century Williamsburg everything. The 1990’s was obsessed with everything colonial.
this video made me want to buy a pleasant company felicity lot now. ughhhh. she's gorgeous.
Yes please show curated Felicity, Josefina and Addy!
I washed them carefully by hand because super old clothes really gross me out (even though they've obviously only been worn by dolls)
Red has been my favorite color since I was little and so I want Felicity red cardinal winter Cape
Felicity is my girl (shhhh... don't tell my other six dolls), but I love her era of history because I love the Culper Ring... and I love they put in real historical events to Lissie's books (the armory incident). I just adore her!
I need the Josefina video you mentioned. And, in general, please speak to your poor people. We need tips on collecting in a budget way. 😂😭
She's ready to play Korn songs
I think the work dress is what Felicity wore in chapter 1 of Felicity learns a lesson Apple Butter Day whens she on the roof picking apples
OMG you have cherry merry muffin!!!
I've gotten doubles of assccories for my dolls before like id get one with my doll from Santa and then Id get the same assccories from Grandma not realizing it. But I didn't mind because you can never have too many assccories for my dolls
It held powder to sprinkle on the ink to help it dry.
For me Im just happy to finally have Molly's Kirsten Addy, joesafina birthday dresses for the first time ever and I got the Rerelease one's and I'm so happy I finally have them I've always wanted their birthday dresses since I was a little girl but manly focus on just the doll and Maybe just one or 2 outfits from the doll's collection
that would be so cool if u did a Pleasant company museum💒🛎️🎀
would love to see that!! & would buy tickets to come see it!!! lol
I need a replacement Felicity from the early 90s!
A for Adventure? Saves the Day were always the action/adventure stories
I think of AG ever brought Felicity back with her birthday dress I think they'd use snaps similar to the ones used in her Christmas dress stomachers or something cause having actual Pins would not be allowed to be sold now in 2024
Except then you can't dress her in the pink dress without the apron.
hi, made it that far, please show the whole felicity collection!
I am curious to how much you spent on the bundle? No problem if you don’t want to share I just would love to get an idea about how much is a fair deal.
Felicitys eyes can look one of too ways
Beautiful
Or scary.
I love the original doll stands the wooden circle base. Cause I don't like the newer white square base I don't know why I just don't. Even when I found AG and got my first doll in the Early 2000s the doll stands are the same from the ones you showed in this video
omg if this is an og Felicity WHY in the world did mattel darken her hair so much?😡
Good question. This Felicity has gorgeous hair.
I have a crazy question. How do you check stock levels on the AG website? Thanks?
Gah Felicity is my fav og girlie 💚💚
“Felicity is into Bitcoin” ☠️🤣
“For those of you that are still awake” 💀
As a horse girl hater she’ll probably always be my least favorite AG but I like her beforever base doll a lot and the first edition is really pretty!
gross children 🤣🤣🤣❤
Meat socks! 😂😂
shes ready to play korn songs
I'd love to See your joesafina and Addy lots haul. I just have Beforever Addy, assccories and her Rerelease birthday dress and I'm on the hunt for her original pink meet dress. Then I have original joesafina and her Rerelease birthday dress too so I'm a sucker for anything pleasant company and I could watch these videos all day.
When is your birthday?
Jealous of your great find lol
I am (perhaps foolishly) hoping that in 2026, The USA's 250th birthday, Felicity returns. I mean come on, bring back the girl who was there at the beginning of it all.
I want AG to release Best friend dolls for Addy, Joesafina, Kirsten Kaya Rebecca,Nanea, Melody and Claudie
Why did Felicity get canceled?
I would be interested in getting your "reject" set of her writing set.
If u opened a museum.....of pleasant company things .....I would go....I would pay and I would go. Anyone else?
I don't understand why the doll stand base changed from round too Square I don't like it.
Tell me you have Penny Felicity's beloved Horse with Penny's baby Parrot
Kudos for making me wish I had a Felicity doll. I feel like she is typically one of the ugliest dolls on the market, but, like you said, this one is different.
Her doll is a penny wood doll. Typical design in the 18th century
i had no idea she was named Elizabeth. wow! i always wondered why her product code started with a ‘E’
I am curious to how much you spent on the bundle? No problem if you don’t want to share I just would love to get an idea about how much is a fair deal.
