The Nachman Dancers

While walking late afternoon in Jerusalem not far from the Central Bus Station, I encountered a group of Breslover Hasidim dancing on top of their parked van and alongside, with music emanating loudly from speakers. Many have seen the cars or vans that Breslovers parade through some of the major neighborhoods, and, when opportunity presents itself, the accompanying dancing, even in the streets, and even blocking traffic. This happens in Tel Aviv too - and beyond. It's a form of outreach.
When I saw this moment, I stopped to watch, as did some others, and then chose to cross the street, to get closer, using my phone camera to film some of the joy and footwork.
