We won the champions award in our national competition, and we are going to compete at the World Festival in Detroit! We won both the robot rounds and the final four with scores between 365 and 480 points. The fourth run was the most unsuccessful, and because of that we are going to revise some parts our strategy by changing the way and the order we complete some missions. There is still time to improve :) The video of the new full run will be online soon!
And I was happy when we got 280😂 But here in egypt we don't have the same capabilities and financial support , we work with only 3 motors and one kit (it's half is in the dark abyss right now)
We don't really know why. When designing we never had problems in terms of smoothness when turning. Maybe you should check if the model is built correctly.

May have violated rule R11 many times. (R11: If you combine a mission model with something (including the robot), the combination must be loose enough that if asked to do so, you could pick the mission model up and nothing else would come with it.)
Good point, but I can confirm that both the pipes, the slingshot and the tripod are removable from their support by using 2 fingers in a very simple way.
Some times manholes slip a little bit out and we lose the 30 points of the bonus. Other missions are very consistent. We are currently working on that!
Wait, how do you score water collection? I've asked judges, and two stacked big water count 50 points (10+10+30). The top one scores because "is touching the mat OR other water", making it 535 and 545. Or at least, in my country is interpreted like this.

At 0.44 how do you know that is the exact position you want to start at because it is not touching the back wall
We use the black line in the middle of the ramp to compensate for variations in the starting position

That touch penalty is already counted in the score

Fll Don Bosco the max points you can reach by yourself are 525! 535 is only possible by getting the water of the enemys.
