  • This is our robot game for our regional competition during the 2018/19 Into Orbit season.
    We left out the M06 Dock Module mission for 14 points and partially completed M08, in which we are aiming for "only" 18 points.
    We are working on adding those missions, but our first competition is fast approaching on January the 26th and we need to rehearse. As for now we are able to score a max of 382 points.

    Fabulous. The robot base is so small, yet the navigation is so accurate and fast. It seems the attachments are complicated but still very reliable. Also, putting 5 launches in 2 and half minutes is insane!

    super inspiring!
    but i noticed that the food chamber weight must be dropped, so the score would be 366
    but still i loved the ideas
    great job!

      Yes you are right, we didn't even notice. From what I've seen at our regional competition judges in our country haven't penalized teams for this. Anyway, we changed the way we solve that mission. The video of the new full run will be hopefully up in the next week, before our national competition.

    Loved easy navigation by robot. Our teams biggest challenge wad navigating on mat, how did you guys program to move ur Robot straight and accurate turns??

    • @Daniel-wr2rr
      @Daniel-wr2rr 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My team made a myblock to autocorrect any drifts during movement. Aso, accelerate from a slower speed to avoid drifting in the begginging when u move out of base. Lastly, use line squaring and line following to your advantage.

      @@Daniel-wr2rr thanks for response. Did your gyro gave any issues on competition day?? We also had autocorrect drift but our gyro went haywire on competition day making our misions fail.

    • @henrychan720
      @henrychan720 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jyotibhangale5166 I have a gyro from HiTechnic and it's absolute garbage. 1 degree accuracy with around 13.5 degrees of drift per second.

    • @benwu9889
      @benwu9889 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jyotibhangale5166 Our team also had that problem. Our solution was to unplug and plug in the gyro sensor every time before an official run. It helps reset the gyro sensor and prevent gyro drift.

    • @Daniel-wr2rr
      @Daniel-wr2rr 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      When starting the robot, make sure that it is in a stable eviroment such as a table. Do not touch the robot. Our robot was so sensitive to the point where we could not even walk around it when it was turning on. Check the port veiw on the gyro, and make sure it stays at 0 degrees. Finally, you might need to unplug the wire for the gyro gently, wait a second or two, and plug it in before your run.

    Hey, I really like your robot and if you are ok with it could I get an LDD file just to see how compact you made it and how it turned out like that? Thanks really appreciate it if you can. Thanks and Good Luck!!! or- Ehi, mi piace davvero tanto il tuo robot e se stai bene potrei ottenere un file LDD solo per vedere quanto sei compatto e come è andato a finire così? Grazie, apprezzo davvero se puoi. Grazie e buona fortuna !!!

    • @noamstar2215

      I think myblock with moving and turning at the same time

    • @henrychan720
      @henrychan720 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      A simple PID loop would do the job but they probably just applied a fixed power to the motors for a fixed duration of time. (They do 2 turns in opposite directions so as long as the battery isn't too low there shouldn't be too much error)
