So many people are bashing the older sister saying she’s mean and a brat and she really don’t care about her little sister. Well for one she’s still a child herself she doesn’t have a clue on how to take care of a baby when she’s still so young herself and not even close to being mature enough to have a baby herself. Also when mom first went missing she immediately didn’t let her little sister leave her side and has had her ever since if she really didn’t care she would have left that baby to die and another monkey to take her. The older sister still wants to play and do all the things the other monkeys her age are doing so yes she gets a little rough while jumping tree branch to tree branch but that’s because she once again doesn’t fully understand on how to care for a baby but again she took on a responsibility that she sure didn’t have to do but she did. It would be like a 10 year old taking care of a 1 year old for us humans more than likely that 10 year old would struggle and not know the first thing to do but thankfully we have resources to help children who loose parents/a parent.
K 8 - xlnt points. there is a stage in primate development where they express affection in ridiculously aggressive ways. i cringe to say humans are good examples lest i be accused of anthropomorphizing; around age 4-6 boys and girls show affection quite roughly; this can persist for some time. A girl that I thought hated me was actually desperate for my attention...... i hopped up onto her horse after giving him a shower, he was still wet, he bolted from beneath me...... because she whipped him with the crop. on the ground the last thing i saw was left rear hoof cracking my right knee..... the outer part...... she was sobbing she was laughing so hard, jumped on me as I'm writhing on the ground. this was like 7th grade...... I had a banana bike (1 speed, small wheels) I had to ride 5 miles home and not be late...... my tires were flat, and it took one guess as to why. Revenge was sweet when I lit an M-80 and tossed it next to her horse when SHE was on it. he bolted so fast he left his shoes behind :)

Her sister is a nervous mess she doesn't understand what's going on...yes she is a bit abusive probably because she is stressed...but she hasn't abandoned her sister yet and she could have easily done so by now...kaya doesn't seem afraid of her sister...I don't know what to think...what I do know is something needs to be done for this little baby girl...she is so precious ;(

Kaya is dehydrated hungry and looks multiple wounds of bites, her sister drags her and hits the floor incessantly like a rag doll, is very cruel even if it is part of nature, could please return them the favor of being part of their life Through videos, trying to help her out of her torment

That baby was gonna die no matter what, with no mother to protect her or to nurse her. Her sister is still a very young juvenile. All she could do is hold her until she's too weak to cling. Don't forget, she is also an orphan with no mother to protect her and her baby sister.
