My late dad had a leather portfolio that looked a lot like those bags way back when I was a kid in the sixties and seventies. He was a captain on merchant ships and the portfolio was bought in the UK sometime in the early sixties. Felt a warm tug in my heart when I saw those :)
Bought this bag and fitted it to my Triumph T120, It looks the nuts! It's a Great quality bag, tough leather that looks like it will out last me. I'm very pleased with it. HOWEVER, Be warned - It comes with absolutely no fitting instructions ( not even on Tripmachines website), in fact if it wasn't for this video I might still be in my garage trying to fit it. But, more importantly, Fedex are now chasing me for an additional £60 import fee. I had no idea I would have to pay this as is says on Tripmachine's website that they use their dealers to arrange delivery so I assumed it was coming from inside the UK and not from India! This makes an expensive bag very expensive. Also, the seat straps are mandatory ( not ideal if you plan on carrying a pillion) and I would definitely suggest fitting pannier/luggage rails to secure them to. Overall, its an absolutely quality pannier that looks stunning, but order from a UK dealer!
I added a Trip Machine Backpack Pannier to my RE Bullet 500 this week. No additional luggage racks needed. Perfect! Thx for recommending them, Stuart! Keith Seattle, WA 🇺🇸
Great review Stuart. Lovely bags and I’ve always been thrilled with any Trip Machine products I’ve bought for my triumph. Always happy to support a good company.
Stuart, your wording is second to none. I do enjoy the slow burn commentary of your videos... I find the slow wax of your prose taps into the same romantic tics of motorcycling that I’ve come to love. Thanks for making these videos in your own way. And enjoy your new GT.
Appreciate the video. I got my military duffel bag delivered today. Truly lives upto the quality as you'd said. It is quite a roomy bag and will surely beat the painful feeling of using a backpack and having it act like a parachute when you are out riding. This military bag is perfect. Now I need to hit the road with it.
I ordered the tan leather duffle bag and outlaw panniers for my RE Ventura Blue Conti GT 650. Thank you Stuart and Trip Machine for the discounted prices.
Okay just cost me $492.14 USD...lol. You sold me on the tank bag so I just picked up the combo saddlebags and duffle bag with your discount code I saved $89. I've been meaning to get them anyway the first time you showed the inside of them. I like the key and little pouch features. I got the tan color 😊 I will say this is the most you've cost me so far...lol stay safe and have fun riding this summer I just did my first oil change on my 2021 interceptor. 😁
Very nice and suit a classic styled machine. I'm using SW Motech bags on the Z900RS. They do both universal and specific machine frames. The design is similar in that they are roll top bags but in wax cotton rather than leather. Their approach to waterproofing is the opposite to TripMachine in that it takes the form of inner bags. They were ideal for a ride to Ireland a couple of years back. It's good to see a decent range of suitable soft luggage emerging into the market.
Hi Stuart, based on your RE Interceptor reviews and indeed others I have seen, I have ordered an Interceptor from my local dealer in Chelmsford Essex. I thank you for these reviews as they have really helped in my research for another bike.. Regards Richard Rhodes
I have had my rear suspension reservoir discoloured by the panniers. Hence would highly recommend using these, or for that matter any kind of panniers with the saddle stays (support) that RE sells at a very reasonable cost. Thanks again for making such a lovely video. And yes I do vouch for Tripmachine products myself. Good luck
first time rider here, currently have 125cc herald rambler (Chinese engine, "British build") but the goal is to get a continental gt in a few years or equivalent, the sad news is I've just spent £100 at trip machine the other day, wish this popped up before hand. thanks for the videos, you're reviews on trip machine urged me to get some of their Products
My only gripe with the Royal are the dam mufflers , that is the first inconvenience to fix ,the angle they have are a royal pain for long intercontinental trips . Then by fixing it luggage becomes easy to choose and use .To that the Triumph Bonny got that right , one should have a choice dont ya think
Great review, the bags look great and are functional. TripMachine are recommending a pannier rail but not which one for the Enfield. If anyone is using a rail let me know which one
Much more than a good offer. Quality, style, usability. Everything you would expect when it comes to luggage support for motorcycles. Not abusing the offer, will there not be on the part of the factory, an offer later on, of a lock with stainless steel rod, as well as a lock in stainless steel (not brass as usual) and electronic lock with hundreds of combinations?
Stuart great video as usual .. I have a Continental GT 650 with a real seat cowl on it to match the fuel tank colour. I your opinion could the outlaw pannier straps that loop under and over the seat with the cowl remaining in place? Thank you I appreciate your thoughts
Love Trip Machine and I’m very pleased with the duffel and tank bag. Unfortunately the outlaw panniers don’t fit my bike due to the Indikators being to far forward. Would have loved outlaw Paniers on my SWM outlaw. Only 4 days after ordering I received the bags here in Switzerland; super quality coming with a great service.
If only I had the use for it , as I don't get the use outta my duffel bag , but if things change I've saved video for a possible later purchase . Nice video Nice bag for the interceptor
Uncle Stew, why or why do you do this to me!!! I finally pick some excellent trip machine luggage to go with my new Meteor 350 ( 21 days to go!!) and you do yet another excellent and informative video about another amazing product. Back to the drawing board.
Hello Stewart thank you for the great dare I saw unique and sadly rare well thought and procured videos. Firstly for those of us late to the game could you do another offer for trip machine and maybe cover any new items they offer if you’ve got an opinion on them. Long winded maybe but thanks again and I really enjoy your style of video bar none. Cheers
Hey Stuart: great video as usual. Seeking your advice as to which one is better as per you - trip machine Outlander or this trip machine outlaw saddle bag. i drive an interceptor baker express and long drives are not too frequent. i stay in india. just wanted your opinion which one looks better on the bike and which offers more utility. thanks
I have their large tank bag on my interceptor and I love it. Very well made and looks good on the bike. 🤔🤔 have to check out this promotion I think ,like to go on a overnight or weekend trip . Cheers mate 👍🏻
They look nice and overcome the problem with those pipes... speaking of which, you've got the stainless pipes on the bike but I'm still waiting for a review of them.
They are very beautiful bags and I definitely love their old-school style! You said you can use these bags without panniers support (which is very clever on the part of Tripmachine) but I am worried that if these bags are heavy loaded, they may touch the wheel (or in curves). What do you think of this? Also, if you or someone else knows, how much weight can these bags hold?
Could you have the Outlaw saddle bags and the wingman bags on at the same time or would that be a little weird or too much? Great video! I like the look of these bags and need them for my Orange Crush. God bless 🙏 Jeff - Sunny Central Florida

I bought 2 Outlaws for my interceptor and they look great. Only downside is the rear shocks are getting worn a bit because there is no rack to protect these.
@@chnillapoil0150 I see, do you plan to order some rails to protect the rear shock? How fast are they getting worn out compared to no saddlebags? Have you felt having them mounted on a bike in terms of balance?
