Stop it... We all know you're a paid troll. This looks nowhere close to beautiful, i'd rather bleach my eyes than watch this piece of overweight bastard child of shotgun and super meteor
As an American, I have loved RE Classics since I was kid in the 1980’s. My father wanted to order a Classic 500 from the back section of Motocyclist magazine. Seeing both the T blue and the Vallum Red, reminds me of the 1950’s colors of the Indian Scouts. I really am looking forward to buying the Red one next year.
Maybe with time this too will be improved to stand out as the Classic has. Also the Classic has had a lot of time to grow and make its presence in the market. Let’s see how this one fairs. 🙏🏽
Hi from Wales in Uk. This bike is 40kg too heavy & the rear mudguard (or fender) isn't valanced enough...it's too unsubstantial. The gap of fresh air above the rear tyre looks absolutely awful. Royal Enfield must be aware of this but have agreed to put it into production using the overweight Supermeteor/Shotgun platform...why? It could and should have resembled more closely the better looking Classic 350. This bike is a lost opportunity and a bit of a dissappointment....it's ok but could have been a lot better.
It’s okay they took SM and SG’s platform but they didn’t fix the rear suspension and that is seriously a huge issue because that is not characteristic of Classic.
They now need to fix the rear fender. It's too far away from the wheel. They need to attach it to the swing arm so they move together. I will actually do it when I buy one.
That wouldn’t work. Imagine what it would be like for the pillion sitting on top of a fender attached to the swing arm - it would be like a pogo stick. It’d also stuff the rear suspension.
Was waiting for so long...bloody disappointed. Its a shotgun, modified to look like a classic. Classic is classic not for the handling. It is classic for the suspension and comfort. The rear suspension and the fender looks totally out of place. Wanted to buy the 650 engine but didn't sign-up for the interceptor because I wanted a comfy riding position. So waited and waited for the classic 650, and then we have this. Almost everyone is noticing the glaring missing component of suspension but none of the reviewers are talking about it openly, as if there is a gag order issued by Siddharth lal personally by wiring money where required!!
When they released SG650 they complained about it being a SM650 rip off.. now they complain about this being a SG650 rip off.. there is no satisfying these kids.. RE should probably make entirely new motorcycles specially for their needs.. "Make a motorcycle" scheme..
Was VERY keen to see this bike. A potential upgrade from my Classic 350. But it hasn't grabbed me anywhere near like the 350 did. Still keen to test ride it when available but something tells me that I will stay with my 350 beauty!!
After owning a Classic Halcyon Grey 350, Im positive that I will never buy another chromed out RE. The sheen doesn't stay long and is a A LOT of work to maintain. Its an absolutely stunning bike brand new though, not gonna lie.
I live on the Canadian Prairies and I don't see many Royal Enfields when I'm out riding. There are fewer that 60,000 motorcycles of all brands sold per year in Canada and if you look on a map you'll conclude that our motorcycle population density is probably the lowest in the world. It's difficult to convince someone to commit to a motorcycle when the weather only permits riding for half the year or less. That being said, I love the teal version of the 650. Perhaps I'll venture into an RE dealer in the spring.
Can we fit a gas charged unit to the suspension?? Cause most have complained about its stiff ride. Also, no tubeless is a nightmare with an almost 250 kerb weight.
I love my INT650. The Classic is beautiful, but I could not do without locking hard side cases like which I have on my INT (GIVI). I wonder if any options will come available for the classic. I really liked the aluminum ones I had on my Himalayan.
@SrinivasGanesh It's like underwear: It will not grow on you. Only when your bottom grows, the underwear will fit properly 😬. But a fat tire will be ugly under this Classic. But seriously this XXXL fender is a pityful design flaw IMHO.
Bhai most difficult question Teal aur black chrome which one you choose , I'm so confused But wait a sec , i don't have money to buy it Oh 😮 I'm dreaming so no worries it's free
I can't pinpoint what it is, but something definitely doesn't look right with the Classic 650 model, idk if it's the out of proportion rear wheel with the rear fender or what, it looks like as if you could fit a much bigger wheel back there
The rear is designed keeping the pillion weight in mind. If and when one sits on it, the gap will be closed. At least that is what my logic says. :) but let's give this motorcycle a chance too, I am sure it would grow on us customers.
Lower the rear fender to remove that gap, and give me tubeless tires. I was ready to put a deposit down, but now I'll pass. The tube tires are a deal breaker for me.
I understand your perspective; tubeless tires would be a nice addition indeed! And I believe the logic for the fender is, most people will opt for pillion seat, and once the pillion sits, this fender will cover the rear wheel very nicely.
That disproportionate & longish rear fender looks awful, the rest of the design is cool but the rear end is scr€wed up.. In comparison the Classic 350 has a flawless design, I wonder why & how they messed up the bigger 650. Also, RE should have provided tubeless spoke wheels or alloys atleast as an option. Many are also saying that the rear suspension is uncomfortable, though am waiting for the ride reviews to confirm it. I hope RE addresses these issues before the mass production for Classic 650 begins.
It’s a matter of perspective, some like it, some don’t, I like it! Plus the rear is designed keeping the pillion weight in mind. If and when one sits on it, the gap will be closed. At least that is what my logic says. :) but let's give this motorcycle a chance too, I am sure it would grow on us customers.
@SrinivasGanesh If that was the case, the rear mudguard of the Classic 350 would have looked similar to Classic 650. But that's not how things are. Whether it's with or without a pillion, the Classic 350's rear mudguard looks compact & proportionate. I don't see how it makes sense to style it differently in the 650, one shouldn't mess with perfection. I only hope that RE rectifies this oddity in the mass production run.
Sir, should I use engine flush to flush out engine oil and little bit garbage particals, Sir my main confusion is if I use engine flush there will be some bit engine flush will remain inside and after filling new engine oil does the new engine oil loose it's viscosity and quality?
According to me, the primary function of engine flush, besides making the oil thin, is to make the work flow much quicker so that you don't have to pay a lot of labour charge. So no you don't have to use it. And engine flush gets drained due to it making the thick oil very thin.
@@rohitgope9966 There’s a magnet in the sump plug. I had maybe 0.1 g of engine particulate on the first oil change, and none for the 5 changes since. Modern Enfield’s are machined precisely ( in one test, they outperformed all Japanese made engines) so engine flush is not necessary provided you change the oil at the prescribed intervals.
This is face lift version of super meteor... i wonder why did they launch this elephant after super meteor, instead of launching before cafe racer twins... it wud have given much popularity to the brand, also sales figures as it wud fill up the blank space of classic 500.. i purchased interceptor in 2021 as i was waiting for this bike but then it took them 6 years after interceptor... if someone ask me i will still say i will go with interceptor only..
