She is the player that you want to watch regardless of whether you support Chelsea/England. Opposition supporters have applauded her. Very happy she is English & plays for the Lionesses.
10 minutes of joy. thank you! i kept an eye on mayra's positioning during crosses today (she seemed to do more going-between-defenders? and interesting how her goal, though showing how insanely talented she is, was made 100% by her--still seems to be a disconnect between mayra and the rest of the team) due to your last video and will now be keeping an eye on lj's...hips? lol, but that active vs reactant analysis was SUPER interesting and how concisely you displayed how incredible her vision of the field & understanding of other players--amazing. what i'm still curious on with lj is the disconnect with assists. given a large part of the video was on her ability to pick out an assist, do you have any thoughts on why she's such a prolific assister with england but has only one wsl assist this season? since that one you showed vs liverpool was her only league assist, and she also had that wonderful assist in the first paris fc game to sam kerr...it just seems odd that she has this incredible assisting ability (as i was reminded of last week with that pass to tooney!), her wsl tally this year is even less than last year. is it just her role on chelsea this season is to score while sarina tells her to focus on being a playmaker? is it that chelsea (especially with sam gone) is just worse at finishing off her passes than the lionesses? and i hope, whenever you inevitably make an analysis video just for grace clinton, that the video gets shown at the 2027 ballon d'or ceremony when she wins :) (though now i think about it, you're so intent on the 2027 date...that means you expect england to win the world cup in 2027, yeah?)
Ramirez was actually the one doing a lot of the crossing against Leicester which isn't necessarily what you want, but yeah she still needs time to gel with everyone else. When you're taught to defend, the position of your hips are very important in terms of where you want your opponent to go and where you can turn to cover. I think LJ's role has changed this year, she's coming inside a lot more now and receiving the ball more centrally, and running in behind more as an attacking threat, where previously she was staying out wide a lot more and receiving the ball on the touchline from a standing start. Haha well I hope England will still mount a challenge for the gold medal in 2027 but I think the competition will be much fiercer.
@@applemnster6309 Yes! Same principle for the men's. It's imperative to keep your hips positioned well especially when defending out wide. The right is to do is to stand on your opponent's strong foot and show them onto their weaker foot and that can only be done when your hips are turned 90 degrees to your opponent.
@@cici7739 She did not ' stomp ' on Alozie. Lightly trod on her. With her weight, if LJ had stomped her, she would have been stretchered off. And ' why ' did she lightly tread on her in the first place?
I think LJ struggles against a very organised defence, it seems like she can pull a rabbit out of a hat at any time but against big teams she's struggled since teams specifically target her and do it extremely well.
@@ShadowFootballYT She might have the ability, but she hasn't shown it yet. Too much hype for her at this moment and time. Now for Lauren James, she actually has the talent and has shown it with Chelsea and England. I bet LJ wins a golden ball before Clinton.
@@stevieg5907 If you've seen my other videos, it started as a bit of a hyperbole and exaggeration since I'm a huge admirer of Clinton, but it seems like people have taken me seriously. LJ has a higher ceiling than Clinton in my opinion but I absolutely love Clinton haha.
@ShadowFootballYT That's perfectly fine to be excited about her. I've just seen in several places people hailing her the next best thing. It seems permature after 1 international game against subpar competition. She may be the next best thing, but it needs time and more games against note worth competition.
LJ ANALYSIS LETS FUCKING GO ITS CHRISTMAS
Christmas in March 😎
would love for you do do a Conti cup finale analysis if possible:) your insights are always great!
She’s incredible ❤ Thanks for the video 😊
The best analysis of LJ
Thanks so much!
She is the player that you want to watch regardless of whether you support Chelsea/England. Opposition supporters have applauded her. Very happy she is English & plays for the Lionesses.
Likewise! She's the kind of player that makes you stand up and take notice of her
Love LJ and love good analysis of the womens game/players. Awesome Vid!
Thank you! This one was requested heavily haha
She’s incredible, shame I’m not a Chelsea fan so sometimes I wish she would have a bad game😂
She does have the odd bad game but as a Man United fan I really don't know why we let her go
probably the £200,000 fee! (and she wanted to return to chelsea so that probably helped) @@ShadowFootballYT
Bro your commentary is good. Nice analysis too
Thanks very much!
Could u do analysis of Man U Everton. I want a roast of Marc skinners build up play
Can you do a video for Caitlin Foord I think she's so underated

Mhm…LJ is a fantastic player nice video. (It was the jokes for me tho 😂 got me creasing)
Haha I'm glad you liked the jokes!
Will you analyse Arsenal v Chelsea sock-gate? Or were we just so bad there's nothing to say...
I might, I'm just trying to sort out some stuff on my end but I do want to analyse a game from this weekend
@@ShadowFootballYT All good, take your time 😊😊 love your videos! This was the first one I didn't see on the day of uploading, I've been super busy too
great vid
Thank you!
There's no analysis for chelsea vs arsenal??😢
LJ all the way. Genius.
What makes James different is that she can THANOS SNAP to win games whenever she feels like it
Bro, your my Goat in women football analysis.
i hate James but she's incredibly talented
Thanks mate! Love her or hate her you can't deny how good she is
definitely@@ShadowFootballYT

Working on a new video now! Will hopefully have it up soon!
