I like to move the front seats forward, put a platform in the rear leg area, push the mattress all the way to the front seat backs, and remove the subtrunk cover, which I can then use for taking my shoes on and off.

I am thinking about this for our road trip P85D- but you have to drive with a completely empty trunk. Or have a rear hitch strong enuf to hold all the luggage (mine is rated to 200lbs, but the luggage cage is 50lbs)- and/or have a top rack with carrier to hold everything. The extras are a pain to load/unload. Lessened aero and weight will eat up range. I may just get a cheap overnight room for all this....smh

Wouldn’t suggest it for anyone trying to live out of their car but it’s more than sufficient for people doing occasional couple day camps.

Forgive me I call the boot the trunk, if your asking does the boot close fully, the answer is yes it closes all the way with plenty of leg room.
