Shop looks amazing
I hope Snips movie superstore wins the award. I will ask my entourage to vote too.
Those donations were a cracking selection of films. Yep, I'm also shocked anyone could throw those out but for the most part, great taste in films.
The first Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey was fun for what it was! Umbrella went all out with their release with a lavish package, and have something similar coming for the second. Night of the Eagle is great, also has an Imprint bluray which came out last year, including the Matheson commentary which was actually on the original laserdisc release.
Frontier(s) is out on Second Sight Blu-Ray but unfortunately they could not procure a new transfer.
However their restorations of Haute Tension and Inside are superb! Highly recommended releases. Speaking of Inside, my personal favourite of the so-called ‘New French Extremities’. Such a banger.
Inside eclipses everything else in that sub-genre for me, I flat out forgot about Frontiere(s) because of it; what a mark it leaves.
I wll never part with any bit of my collection now. A couple of years ago I started getting rid of older DVDs I had upgraded to blu-ray, only to discover that legacy special features were now being edited and/or censored by studio legal departments. I immediately started re-buying those DVDs.
@@UntamedAggression Wise choice!
Steve Martin's character in My Blue Heaven is based on Henry Hill. So it's kinda sequel to Goodfellas.
@@gudmundursturluson7683 Heh! Didn't know that
Written by Nora Ephron, wife of Nicholas Pileggi, writer of Goodfellas..
Hey Dave. I’ve been checking out your writings on Schlock Pit, that’s a wealth of curated trash/action cinema explorations, you do appear to have watched an awful amount of Porn. 😂 We have Tubi here in Australia and yes it’s got some great stuff but some are also unwatchable VHS rips of some films like Frankenstein 80 and Paul Naschey’s The Werewolf VS the Vampire Woman. So you know.. can’t beat a restored HD Blu-ray.
I saw both Suburban Commando, and Mr Nanny at the cinema. Just thought I'd share that haha
@@m62films-upthenorth oh wow!! Incredible!
You haven't got 101 dalmatians ! :)
