    I am keeping my 2012 Hyundai Veracruz, gives me no major problem till now, this Monday my wife will trade her 2015 Chev Traverse for a Palisade-Luxury,, Hyundai makes our life easier.

    Very well explained the differences between ultimate and luxury trims. I would have bought ultimate trim if it has a bench seating on 2nd row without any second thought.
    Somehow i do not like captain chairs (just my opinion)... probably i am from old school.

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Ultimate will very likely come with a second row bench seat eventually. Many of Hyundais own ads show an ultimate with 8 seats, so I'm guessing by next year we'll see it happen.

      So they've revamped the grill on the 2021. Plus nicer wheels (subjective) but they're nicer then the 2020 wheels.

    Hi,
    I really find this Hyundai Palisade amazing. I was going to buy a 2020 Explorer, however, you have a real competitor to consider, considering the significant price difference.
    The question I have;
    Am I wrong to understand that 'Power' Tilt & Telescopic is not available?
    If so, can we order it, or, have it installed?
    if so, why is there no SUV at Hyundai or Kia with Power Tilt & Telescopic? You have some cars with Power T&T?
    To me, this feature is essential, when you are two driving a vehicle.
    Specially when one his 6'2" and the other his 5'5". In my view, when you press memory functions, it should fix the 3, seat, stirring and mirror. Otherwise, each need to fix the stirring manually each time!
    Or, will it be available next year for 2021?
    I'm just going to note a few SUV that as this feature;
    Ford explorer, Ford edge, Chevrolet blazer, Cadillac XT5 & XT6, Acura MDX, etc!!
    Thanks in advance for your answer.
    Great job in this video
    Brian

      Thanks for your question,
      Hyundai has had a few vehicles in the past with power adjustable steering. However, for reasons unknown to myself, they currently do not offer it in any of their vehicles. Instead, they chose to focus heavily on new technologies, and as such often have slightly more features then the competitors.
      Selling cars for a living, I can tell you, we rarely hear from prospective buyers that it is an important feature to them. Perhaps that is why hyundai dropped it.
      I suggest before ruling out the Palisade because of that, take your significant other to go and test drive a Palisade. You never know, maybe you both like the steering wheel in the same spot on this particular vehicle....

      My Santa Fe has that I believe.
      One thing to consider is the annual warranty service requirements. Those are not free and if you are putting a lot of miles on this buggy, you are going to pay for it.
      So while Hyundai is cheap up front, you will be paying explorer prices in the end.
      Comparatively speaking, the Hyundai is better manufactured, with a BETTER warranty, and just an all around nicer vehicle versus it's gutless North American competitor.

    One of the features that I understand comes on the top-level Canada version of the Palisade is the power-folding side mirrors. That is not an option on the top trim level (Limited) on the U.S. version. I wonder if the power-folding option will be added in the 2021 model year? Of could it be an aftermarket option? Your thoughts?

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's actually not available in Canada either. I don't see it being an aftermarket add on either unfortunately.

    Am I the only person excited about ambient lighting? I really would like to see that included in a review. I’m trying to decide which color interior that I would like and I’d like to see both with the ambient lighting and see if one “pops” more than the other.
