The most watchable build video I've seen yet. Why? You describe hardware by its spec instead of the random Tamiya part number, you edit out all the fiddly bits, and you don't talk to your viewers like they are amateurs. Well done, sir! 😊
Hi Timothy and many thanks for the very encouraging words! Much appreciated! I've done so many build videos now and have tried to learn from past mistakes, endeavouring to pass on all the necessary info and cutting out the stuff that's not needed (like doing up screws!) Glad you approve, thanks again, sir! 🙏😎👍
Thanks a bunch Damian! That's very kind of you to say. Yes I'm finding it interesting, learning about this strange chassis as I go along! Have a smashing weekend mate! 😎👊👍
That looks like a pretty good build, not too complicated, but a little fiddly in places. Personally I would have put threadlock on any screw that goes into a metal part or metal nut, if you run the car they will inevitably work loose! Another awesome Mark Bryan build video, I love them!!
Hi there Barry! Exactly, it's not overcomplicated but tricky to wrestle the parts together in places! I agree about the threadlock but this lovely car will only get minimal use! Great to hear you love these build vids, thanks very much! Have a smashing Sunday! 🙏😎👊👍
Hi Mark, another great instructional video on the amazing F103 chassis. This is a little different from what you normally feature, I think Peter has given you a wonderful gift indeed. These chassis kind of remind me of the early Tamiya days, FRP plates etc…in this chassis, a few different building techniques are used for the steering and suspension systems, really makes for an interesting build 😊😊best wishes to you and the family 😎🤗😉
Hello John and thanks for the great comment! Certainly is something very different to get my teeth into! You are right ✅ about it being like the early Tamiya days with the FRP. The main thing is that I'm enjoying it! All the best my friend! 😎👍
My brain was hurting through that video Mark. I was trying to understand how those front uprights worked and everytime I got my bearings I lost them again!! What a quirky chassis this is just like the real life car! Cheers dude 🙌🏻
Hi there Craig! You and me both mate, there was a lot of head scratching going on here I can tell you! 😅 Quirky is certainly the word for this kit, that's for sure! Very enjoyable all the same! Hope you are having a relaxing Sunday my friend! 👌😁🤝👍
Second! - Something about this wacky six-wheeler has never appealed to me. Possibly the six wheels? Haha. That's a cool front-end setup they used to make it work. Wonderful video, as always, Mark. Hope the thumb is healing nicely! :)
And silver goes to Fil! 🥈Nice one pal! I love the look of this crazy contraption! And it's such a different build to any other kit I've done. The thumb is better than expected, thanks mate. Wishing you a wonderful weekend! 😁👊👍
Thanks J! Yeah a decent start to the build and only a couple of mistakes made off-camera! 😅 I know what you mean, I'll struggle to find a good place to run it but I don't care, it just looks so good! Have a great weekend pal! 😎👊👍
Been looking forward to this one Mark, such a classic and a really unique kit in a simple interesting way! Going to look awesome l am sure of that when finished l can bet on that! Have a cracking weekend buddy😉👍🍻😁
Hi there James, always lovely to read you my friend! You said it well, this quirky chassis is kind of simple yet complex at the same time! 😅 Certainly different that's for sure! The paint and bodywork will be the hardest part though I think! We're having a good one pal, hope you are too! 🤞😎👌👍
@MarkBryanRC All good here Mark and agree that build you are doing is a nice thing! The bodyshell should be interesting too! but what a shocking day! My god Mick at the hobbyshed is making me jealous with his FB pics of the sun and blue skies and that bbq! Mate l miss the summer dude😥 We will get there lol! I have started my Plasma Edge build it's a perfect day for it on a positive note! Cheers pal 👍
Hi again James! Glad you're doing OK. I haven't seen what Mick has been up to, I must take a look! But from what you describe, I think I'd just be green with envy! 😅 Roll on Spring! Have fun with the Plasma Edge, it's a lovely build mate! 😍👍
Great to hear! Thanks! Yeah this has been on my radar for a long time and now I'm really enjoying the build process. Can't wait to try it out. Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Ahhhh, thats a lovely looking birthday present you are finally getting round to building, young Mark 👍 i am very much looking forward to joining you for Part 2 😎 And Part 3 as well 😂 Hope you're having a smashing weekend 🤘🤘🤘
Hi Peter! Oh yes what a wonderful birthday 🎂 present 🎁 thanks very much! It really is a very interesting build to get my teeth into, just don't talk to me about the tyres!!! So hard to fit! 😬 Other than that I'm loving it! The weekend is going well thanks, hope 🙏 yours is too! 🤗🤝👍
Many thanks, Gabriel! I'm certainly enjoying it. The chassis is very cramped so I've come up with a big change to the servo mounting position - fingers crossed it works... coming in part 2 my friend! 😎👊👍
Hi there Kev and thanks for dropping in! I gotta agree, the real car was something very special, I think the 2 small front wheels had a larger contact patch that the larger single wheels. The 2 small wheels also improved airflow over the front of the car... anyway it was banned after a short while, such a shame! Have a great weekend my friend! 😎👊👍
Thanks muchly, Sean! 🙏 Yeah I love the looks of this one and the chassis is very cool but all new to me, so it's an interesting build learning how it all goes together... I did completely change the way the servo mounts as you will see! Have a good one there! 😎👊👍
Nice one Mark, very cool!!! I haven’t picked one of these up yet, tricky one to find at a good price, I’m in the middle of copying your tt02s with the Lancer body build at the moment. Then a Super Clodbuster👍
Thanks Chaz! Yes these are hard to come by and even harder to find at a good price. Definitely an interesting build though. I hope your TT02 comes out well... and I know you'll love the Clodbuster! Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Finally time to watch some YT videos👍 You do the best build videos by far. Always love to watch them. Can't wait to see you and Rob race it 😀 I just finished building a TA02 chassis. Just need to install some electrics.
Hi Are and thanks for getting time to watch this one. You are too kind my friend, I do my best with these videos, it takes a lot of time, especially in the editing! 😅 The TA02 is also a lovely chassis to put together, have fun with the choice of electrics! Cheers! 🍻😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it, Kim and thanks for watching! Oh yes, on the next part when trying to fit the front tyres, I nearly did throw it up the wall! All the best my friend, have a lovely week! 🙏😎👍
First time watching one of these being built, very interesting but I would have used more threadlock on more of the screws. Normally metal to metal needs more.
Thanks Mal! Yeah I was tempted to use more threadlock but decided to go with the instructions. This model will only get very light use anyway! Cheers pal! 🍻😎👍
My word mate, that looks a little different from the average buggy chassis. I'll be fascinated to see what surface you find run this on. A sports hall would be ideal.
Too right ✅ pal, it's just about as different as you can get!!! Nice to tackle something new for a change though! Agreed, a sports hall would be ideal but sadly I don't have access to one now I've retired from working at the school! Hopefully a nice smooth stretch of tarmac will be suffice. 🤞 All the best mate! 😎👊👍
interesting builds aren’t they these f1 cars. you can swop out the friction shock for an oil filled one . i think basically it’s a tt02 type one . very interesting mate 👍
Absolutely, Dom! Very interesting indeed. Yeah I saw some upgrades for oil shocks but I want to get an idea what this friction shock feels like. Thanks mate and hope all is god with you! 😎👍
Very good build video! Interesting, that they dont offer friction grease for that damper, that I have on my F103. There is a special damper grease for these flat formula one style dampers, maybe you should try one?
Glad you enjoyed it! 😉 Oh yes it says in the manual to put friction grease on the damper but it's not included in the kit! I will see if I can get some to try out, thanks for the tip! All the best! 😎 👍
@MarkBryanRC That grease is some kind of sticky one, and you can get different grades. Cheers. Beautiful build. I dont have sixwheeler and would like to get one.
Hallo Mark glad your hand is healed and we can enjoy your content again. I like the old F1 Cars and this Tyrell was the coolest of them all espacially the all Blue one. I know you´re just doing the Chassis but I´d like to know is the blue plastic of the body the same as the plastic from the Holiday Buggy? Can it be painted? Take care and cheers.
Hello Oliver and thanks for the kind thoughts - yes my thumb has healed much faster than I expected! 👍 Same here, I love classic F1 cars and agree the Tyrrell is one of the best! I can tell you the blue plastic body is made of ABS like the Blitzer Beetle and Sand Scorcher, so it should be OK to paint, fingers crossed! 🤞 Have a great weekend there my friend! 🍻😎👍
Hi Ian. Not sure but I think they are hard to come by. I'll have a search later but I think this car will get used sparingly when it's finished! Cheers! 🍻😎👍

Gold medal goes to Tony! 🥇Well done pal and I hope you enjoyed the coffee and biscuits! And the video hopefully! 😅🙌👍
